All Pokemon Unite Champions – All Championship Winners

The Pokemon Unite Championship Series is one of the newer circuits in Esports, but in its few years we’ve already racked up quite the list of Pokemon Unite champions. In this title, the winners of the Championship Series are by are the best Pokemon Unite players of the year. It’s an open esports circuit where the very best players compete to reach the finals. Teams need to be some of the best in their regions.

The Pokemon Unite champions themselves have demonstrated they’re amongst the best to ever play in the game. While we’ve had quite a few different teams become Pokemon Unite Champions, fewer players make the list. The same names tend to dominate from year to year, just with new team names behind the roster.

Lately we’ve even seen some upsets with new players becoming the reigning Pokemon Unite champions. This is every Champion and Pokemon Unite Championship Series winners we’ve had so far:

All Pokemon Unite Champions

The 2026 season for the Pokemon Unite Championship is underway. We’re approaching one of the biggest events so far with the Aeos Cup 2026. But who are the Pokemon Unite champions from the game’s past? These winners could give a good idea of which teams and players to watch in 2026. These are all of the winners we’ve seen so are:

2025 – PERÚ

PERÚ became our most recent Pokemon Unite champions with the conclusion of the 2025 season. This squad barley made it into the playoffs at first. Coming in 2nd of 3 in their group, they were a single loss away from qualifying.

In the actual Playoff bracket, they had a tough first match against STMN Esports. but really started to come together in the quarter-finals, beating Aegis Flame 2-0. The Semis were tougher. The older Pokemon Unite Champions nearly put a stop to their run, but PERÚ ultimately won 3-0. Before facing Zeta Division in the Grand Finals where they confidently took victory 3-1. One of the closer finals we’ve seen, but still a resounding victory for PERÚ.

2024 Pokemon Unite Championship Series Winners – FENNEL

In 2024, we finally saw that Luminosity gaming Squad lose out, as FENNEL took first place. With Luminosity Gaming coming in 17-24th, their era was over after dominating the early stage. Instead of their clean runs, we got a much more dramatic final bracket this time to decide the Pokemon Unite champions.

Fennel ran into trouble against ONIC in the semi-finals, only just pushing ahead to win 2-1. Before facing XoraTigersGaming in the final. This was a cleaner win, with a quick 3-0 victory. Making FENNEL the new Pokmeon Unite champions for 2024.

This year also coincided with a change to the playoff bracket. The double elimination bracket was swapped out for a straight playoff bracket, with no second chances. The Pokemon Unite Championship Series winners only got one shot. This has been the format going forward for the Championship Series leaderboards in LANs.

2023 Pokemon Unite Champions – Luminosity Gaming

2023 was the second year we saw the Pokemon Unite Championship Series run. While the names of the Pokemon Unite Champions were different to the year before, the squad was quite similar. It was Luminosity Gaming, which fielded the same team that went under the name BLVCKHVND last time.

In 2023, they had a perfect run in the final brackets. Beating OG 2-09 in the quarterfinals. Then OMO Abyssinian 2-0 in the semis, before taking Oyasumi Makuro 2-0 in the upper-bracket final. The Grand Final was a rematch against OMG Abyssinian, which again ended 3-0. This team had two titles behind them, with amazing runs each time. Looking like they would be on top of Pokemon Unite esports forever.

2022 – BLVKHVND

The inaugural Pokemon Championship Series! This one set the pace for the entire Pokemon Unite competitive circuit that would follow. The first Pokemon unite Champions were BLVKHND. A team who played in the early days of the game. Their whole squad left after the 2022 season though, becoming Luminosity gaming. So while BLVKHVND were only Pokemon Unite champions once, this squad made a bigger impact on the game.

BLACKHVDN had a very strong performance in the first finals bracket. They won the grand final 3-0, showing utter dominance in the opening year. This was after winning the upper bracket final 2-0, and making short work of their semi-finals opponents too. This was still early, where we didn’t know the Pokemon Unite meta all that well. But it was an intresting tournament.

The current Pokemon Unite season is only our fifth! There’s still plenty of room for new Pokemon Unite Championship Series Winners to rise up and upset the old order. In. upcoming events like the Aeos Cup we should hopefully see some of these new challengers at work.
