This weekend saw the beginning of the new Pokemon Unite Championship Series 2026 season kick off. All three regions played out multiple best of 3 series across the weekend in order to attempt to cement an early lead in the race to finish first or second in their league. Only the top 2 teams from each region will earn an automatic ticket to the Pokemon Unite World Championship in San Francisco later this year.
With all that being said, if you didn’t manage to watch Pokemon Unite and the many, many games played over the weekend, here are the current standings on the Pokemon Unite Championship Series leaderboards.
| Dignitas | 3-0 |
| Evil Geniuses | 3-0 |
| IX Gaming | 2-1 |
| Citadel Gaming | 1-2 |
| LuneX Gaming | 1-2 |
| Extinction | 1-2 |
| Ti Gang | 1-2 |
| afterMath Esports | 0-3 |
Both Dignitas and Evil Geniuses come into the 2026 season for the very first time and their brand new rosters are off to a strong start with both teams going 3-0 in the first round of games. There are a couple of unknown players on both of these teams but the veterans like Kyriaos and Otter put their experience from Luminosity Gaming last year to the test. We’ll have to wait a while for these former teammates to go head to head in their new rosters but for now, they’re definitely off to a good start.
| Force Gaming | 3-0 |
| STMN Esports | 2-1 |
| PERÚ | 2-1 |
| Tuzzy E-Sports | 1-2 |
| CACM Esports | 1-2 |
| Entity7 | 1-2 |
| Infamous | 1-2 |
| DreamMax e-Sports | 1-2 |
Latin America is the only league with no 0-3 performances so far but yes, that is Pokemon Unite Championship Series world champions PERÚ sitting in third place at the moment, having dropped a game to Brazilian ex-Tuzzy E-Sports roster Force Gaming – 0-2 for that matter. This is certainly because despite their 2025 win, the org then purchased the old FUSION roster earlier this month. Still, there’s plenty of time for them to pick up the pace and earn a top 2 slot.
| BH3 E-Sport | 3-0 |
| Team Peps | 2-1 |
| Komaï Esport | 2-1 |
| INGAGE | 2-1 |
| Volticons | 2-1 |
| Los Caducados | 1-2 |
| J’ame le poulet | 0-3 |
| AVALANCHE | 0-3 |
Unlike most other esports, Europe isn’t one of the strongest regions in Pokemon Unite so the top 2 spots in this league matter all the more. BH3 E-sport had a strong start against any team that failed to auto ban the Blaziken, especially when paired up with Mewtwo X. While Komaï were the only team on this list to make an appearance at Worlds last year (despite losing out to Talon Esports and CakeKaLok during the group stage), they’ve struggled a little early on in this season. They put a lot of faith in Mewtwo X, one of the most contested Pokemon of the weekend, but didn’t have as much success as they would have hoped.
