Who is Peterbot? The player has become one of the biggest names in Fortnite over the last few years. Rising from a relatively unknown player to someone routinely called the best in the game. In North America, Peterbot’s ups and downs have defined the tournaments in the last year.
Over Chapter 5, Peterbot and Pollo were all over the game. Winning each FNCS from S2 onwards. Then the Grand Finals. In the last Chapter, things went differently. Now split up, Peterbot and Pollo’s various Trios traded wins all Chapter, before a bit of a crash out in the Global Championship LAN. With Peterbot and Pollo back together for Chapter 7 though, they look set to be back on top.
Peterbot is one of the most famous Fortnite pros. If you’re following the FNCS in Chapter 7, it looks like he’ll be one of the top players to watch. His set-up and settings are a great example of how you can play the game at the highest level… although, his keybinds are truly bizzare. Who exactly is Peterbot though and how much has he earned from Fortnite over the years?
Peterbot is one of the strongest Fortnite players in modern seasons.
He might only be 18, but he’s been a strong player for years now. Amassing a near record number of FNCS wins. He won his first in Chapter 3 with Bylah. But it was in 2024 where things got more interesting. After taking 2nd in the first Major, Peterbot won the next two Majors back-to-back. Followed by dominating at the Global Championship. They were completely dominating the game. Then Chapter 6 happened.

Things got a bit more muddled starting in Chapter 6. In the first FNCS, Pete’s team lost to Pollo. The other half of that Duo proved stronger, or at least a better Trio. Since the FNCS moved to a bigger format, Peterbot’s more self-centered playstyle didn’t adapt as well. In Major 2 though, Ritual and Cold kept up a lot better. They took victory in Major 2 after chasing down Clix’s trio to deny him victory. They repeated their win in Major 3.
In that final Major, it essentially came down to the final game. Peterbot’s trio hot dropped Pollo’s, chasing them out of the POI and eliminating them early to win. Both trios were moving forward to the FNCS Global Championship anyway, but it gave this team a final title in the year.
Things went very differently at the LAN though. After claiming the wrong spot in the pre-season, a trio who shared a coach with Peterbot took the best spot on the map. Meaning the team was forced to just land nowhere, and kind of wander, hoping a game came together. It was a strange performance. The knowledge later that their shared coach had meant Peterbot’s trio couldn’t do their normal tactics of harassing the tournament leader explained a bit more, but it was still an off weekend.
Peterbot and Pollo’s performance could be very important in Chapter 7. If they can come back, then the FNCS Global Championship 2025 might just be a brief blip. But it could mean the tide is turning. We’ll have to see if he can adapt to Chapter 7 and its inevitable changes.

What is Peterbot’s real name? It’s Pete Kata. He’s is a rare Fortnite player who uses his real name within his Fortnite name too.
Most Fortnite esports players are on the younger side. He is 18 years old as of 2025.
A lot of Fortnite players like to look at the settings and set-up of pros as an example of how the game can perform at its peak. Looking at Peterbot’s Fortnite settings, it’s pretty similar to most other pros. Although, his key binds are known for being strange. These are the best Fortnite settings that Peterbot uses:

Settings are only really half the picture. This’s set up has a big factor on the game’s performance. Not every PC will get a good frame rate on the same settings. This is what Peterbot uses as it was last known:
| Mouse | Keyboard | Monitor |
| Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 | Steelseries Apex Pro TKL | Zowie XL2R566K |
| Mousepad | CPU | GPU |
| GameSense Radar Benjyfishy (Easy to spot, covered in fishes) | Ryzen 7 9800X3D | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 |

Finally, how much has Peterbot earnt in Fortnite? The pro is getting lose to having the most FNCS wins, but that isn’t worn out by his earnings compared to older players. Peterbot doesn’t quite make the list for the highest earning Fortnite players. World Cup winners tend to dominate that since the prize was so much higher for that tournament. However, Peterbot has still earned a lot. This is what his current earnings look like:
That’s on the back of multiple FNCS wins, and even LAN wins. Peterbot is still adding to this total too. He could eventually make it onto the top 10 highest earning Fortnite players with enough FNCS Finals.
