BLAST Rivals Spring 2025

BLAST are really mixing things up in 2025 but one event is still going to be familiar for returning CS fans: BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. This year, BLAST will be running 2 seasons of tournaments, with this being the final event in season 1 of the Counter-Strike 2025 calendar.

BLAST Rivals Participating Teams

Unlike a lot of other, much bigger tournaments, only 8 teams will be taking part in BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. The first 4 will be directly invited based on their position in the Valve Global Standings. We’ve got a whole lot of Counter-Strike to get through before the invite date on April 1st so it’s hard to predict who will get to compete at this point.

The final 4 teams will be invited from each of the 4 regions based on their standings. This means one from the EU, one from North American, one from South American and one from Asia.

Tournament Format

BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 is going to follow a format that should be familiar to any Counter-Strike fan.

• Group stage: Two groups of 4 teams will play a double elimination bracket where the top 3 teams in each groups will proceed to the next stage.
• Playoffs: The top 6 teams will compete in a single elimination bracket until they reach the grand finals.
