For Falcons, their defeat at IEM Melbourne 2025 after dropping a 12:6 lead on tournament point could have been a turning point. It would have been all too easy for the team to fall into a slump after such a demoralizing loss, feeling very sorry for themselves as they made the long trip to Copenhagen for BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.

Instead, Falcons don’t appear to have missed a beat coming into BLAST Rivals, their good form already carrying them to a Semi-Finals berth. The team, powered mostly by the combined firepower of NiKo and m0NESY, have carried on where they left off at IEM Melbourne, and now have taken down a Team Spirit roster who have plenty to prove by themselves.
Falcons just keep getting better
Hatewatchers, look away now – Falcons just seem to be getting better with each passing game. It’s true that Magisk on occasion has his off days, while kyxsan and TeSeS can be equally inconsistent. But as an overall package, their match against Spirit showcased some of their most impressive play yet, with zonic showing he still has a few tricks up his sleeve as coach.
It was an example of what a winning Falcons should look like. The trio of Magisk, kyxsan, and TeSeS all played their part in moments, but it was NiKo and m0NESY who topped the scoreboard, delivering for the team against a Spirit team that arrived on the server with new ideas after their own month away from officials. Falcons will always look to that duo to put up the big numbers as they go deeper in events, and their consistency in massive matches will be a huge buff for the team as they continue to evolve.
Can Falcons win BLAST Rivals Spring 2025?
Let’s be honest – this Falcons project isn’t here to collect second-place medals. The investment in NiKo and m0NESY shows they’re here to win, and the question now becomes whether they can do that at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 in Copenhagen. Personally, with a top-four finish already secured, I think the answer is a resounding YES.

As we head into the BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 Playoffs, Falcons will face the eventual winner of FaZe vs. MOUZ. If it’s FaZe, they’re so far off the pace right now that it’s hard to imagine a scenario in which they can beat Falcons. If it’s MOUZ, then Falcons recently dominated them at IEM Melbourne 2025, and will feel pretty good about their chances in that matchup. Right now, Falcons are the clear favorites to reach the Final on that side of the bracket.
Then, on the other side, just about everyone expects Vitality to make it to the Final. They’re dominant right now, but they’ve shown real cracks in recent matches that show they are beatable. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets over the line against Vitality, and why not the team that drove them so close in the IEM Melbourne Final? After all, apEX has admitted his team are tired, and Falcons only seem to be gathering momentum.
That’s my hot take for BLAST Rivals Spring 2025: Falcons to win, ending the Vitality era of dominance.
