Team Falcons Rainbow Six maintained their dominance of the European MENA region of Rainbow Six Siege X esports as they took down G2 Esports in a strong 2-0 series victory in Malta. It was a comfortable display for Team Falcons, who previously took down G2 Esports in the Upper Bracket Grand Final 2-1. This time, however, the Falcons looked even more assured, winning both 7-4 and 7-5, respectively.
The victory is a nice end-of-year for Team Falcons, who had some difficult spells, most notable was their struggles at the Esports World Cup 2025; however, the second-place finish at the Munich Major in November will have been fresh in the minds. With their spot already secured at the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris, this is another title for Team Falcons, and another major prize total secured.
2025 has been a mixed year for the Team Falcons Rainbow Six Siege X roster. Although their struggles at the Six Invitational, Esports World Cup, and Munich Major have been notable, they have at least maintained their dominance in the European and MENA regions. The next task for this side is going to be about taking that to the next level.

With attention now turning to Paris, Team Falcons has time to prepare and rest up before that major challenge in February. Team Falcons will be joined by a number of other sides from their region, including G2 Esports and Team Secret. Being played on home turf in Paris could also help, especially with home support for Team Falcons’ three French players Loïc “BriD” Chongthep, Théo “LikEfac” Mariano, and Stéphane “Shaiiko” Lebleu, though each of the three European rosters will have local support from the French crowd.
Having lost the Upper Bracket Final already to Team Falcons, G2 Esports always knew they had a lot to do to take down Team Falcons at their second attempt. The two sides have locked horns multiple times this year at major finals, and while G2 had the better of Team Falcons in the Europe MENA League Stage 1, at this Stage 2 second attempt, it was the Falcons that took the victory.
Much like Team Falcons and Team Secret, G2 Esports’ spot in Paris is already secured ahead of this Grand Final; however, it ends a year of “so close” for G2 Esports, who finished second in Saudi Arabia for the Esports World Cup, second here in Europe, and top 5 at the Munich Major just last month.
As with most sides, their attention will turn to Paris, and with some time in between to rest up and work on tactics during the new patch, as new metas emerge and changes to the competitive map pool bring new challenges. As for G2 now, they’ll be licking their wounds as they prepare for a busy 2026, which gets started in Paris. The key for G2, Falcons, and Secret, is that they avoid having to go through the gruelling Six Invitational qualifier brackets later in December.
