Rainbow Six Siege X New Season Start Date – Operation Tenfold Pursuit Patch Changes

Already, we’ve gota. good idea about what’s coming. As the Rainbow Six Siege X Test Server is now live. We’re expecting the release date for the new season in early December.

This new season is also a big moment for Siege X as it will mark the game’s 10th Anniversary, a major milestone that many titles never make it to, especially not thriving in the way that Siege has since its release. However, the 10th Anniversary release of Operation Tenfold Pursuit is a big moment for the game.

According to Steam Charts, the game has had a major drop-off since the last season released in June 2025. The game has dropped from an average of 80,000 players to just 31,000 ahead of the new season release. This drop is normal; however, this time the drop has been much larger.

Of course, this only looks at Steam, which is only a part of the PC player base, however, this latest season is a big moment for Siege X. When is the Rainbow Six Siege X new season start date?

New Operator in Siege X

Denari was added in the last update, with Operation Tenfold Pursuit instead making major changes to Thatcher.

As a free Operator, it’s a big update to the game, as Thatcher is one of the OG crew in Siege X. This update is expected to be a big change to the game, with many people playing the Test Server suggesting this makes Thatcher one of the best Operators in the game. Though, that sort of sentiment has to be controlled, as it is a Test Server, so things can easily change a lot.

When is the Next Season After Operation Tenfold Pursuit

Siege X gets four seasons a year, roughly dropping every three months. Each season comes with a mix of new Operators, new maps or reworks to maps, or, in the case of Tenfold Pursuit, reworks to a current Operator. To get some idea of how it works, let’s use Year 10 as an example:

  • Season 1 – March 2025 – new Operator – Reputation System
  • Season 2 – June 2025 – Clash Rework – Player Protection – Siege Cup Update
  • Season 3 – September 2025 – New Operator – Modernised Maps
  • Season 4 – December 2025 – Thatcher Rework – Map reworks – Siege Anniversary update – new guns

Year 9 followed this same pattern, so you can expect Year 11 Season 2 to drop in March 2026. We won’t know the full Rainbow Six Siege X new season start date until it’s a bit closer though.
