Rainbow Six Siege X Esports World Cup 2026 Details Confirmed

Rainbow Six Siege X will once again be part of the Esports World Cup 2026 plans. Not only will Siege return, but the headline Saudi event will now become a banner event in the Siege 2026 Esports programme.

Rainbow Six Siege X is set to return for the Esports World Cup 2026, after two successful years in the global competition. The event will run for seven weeks as it did in 2025. Siege is in week six, August 4th-14th. A total prize pool for the event of $75 million is up for grabs, with Siege expected to get a large chunk of that at $2 million. These are the key details we know so far about Rainbow Six siege X Esports World Cup 2026:

Rainbow Six Siege X is levelling up in 2026 for the Esports World Cup, going from a one-week event to a two-week event. This is likely in part due to the Esports World Cup coming into the official Siege Esports schedule for 2026-2027.

The format for Siege has not been confirmed. But most two-week events at the Esports World Cup tend to have a play-in stage or group stage on week one, with the playoff bracket happening in the second week. Rainbow Six Siege X Esports World Cup 2026 could follow this formula.

The event will be a Six Invitational 2027 points scoring event, with point distribution from 1st to 8th.

  • 1st – 1000 points
  • 2nd – 750 points
  • 3rd – 500 points
  • 4th – 300 points
  • 5th-8th – 200 points

R6 Esports World Cup 2026 Prize Pool

The prize money split is not known for now, just that the total is expected to be $2 million. A $10,000 prize is also given to the overall event MVP, as is tradition with the Esports World Cup.

22 sides from Rainbow Six Siege will compete from across the globe, though how these sides will be selected is not known. Team Secret secured the victory in 2025, and Team Falcons loss in Siege almost saw the Saudi organisation slip up on their quest to claim the ultimate Esports World Cup 2026 title.

While the news of the Esports World Cup being a key part of the Siege esports schedule hasn’t been received well by the entire community. The prize pool is likely to be the largest single-event prize pool of any event in the Siege calendar in the future.
