Among the winners, some of the standouts are personalities and players from the League of Legends scene. Riot Games won the Publisher of the year as well as the Esports Game of the Year.
Sebastian “SebTheFloorManager” Leathlean is a known face for taking control of the League of Legends global events, including the 2025 world championship. T1’s player Doran, who is staying with T1 for 2026, also won the Play of the Year, with CaptainFlowers, Vedius, and Laure Valée winning the three categories for play by play caster, colour caster, and host.

The 2025 edition of the Esports Awards marked the 10th anniversary for the event. Esports Awards CEO Michael Ashford described it as a significant milestone for the industry: “The show was a celebration of excellence, bringing together the biggest names in gaming and content creation for a night of recognition and community,” said Ashford. “Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make this decade-defining edition so extraordinary.”
