A new Fortnite PS5 bundle has just been announced! If you’re an absolute completist in Fortnite skins, then you might be weighing up how much a whole games console costs to unlock a single skin. But there’s been some changes to how console bundles work with this one.
The announcement is showing off what a bundle for Fortnite looks like in 2025. It’s not just a skin anymore, but Lego versions, instruments, cosmetics that effect every game mode in Fortnite now. The Fortnite PS5 Bundle has some other changes too though.
In the past, these bundles have featured exclusive skins. Ones that you can only get access to by purchasing the whole thing… or the Fortnite codes on the secondary mode. Essentially, they’ve been ways to get some skins that go on to become the some of the rarest in the game. However, this bundle is quite a bit different. Players won’t be getting anything exclusive permanently this time.
If you want to know how the Fortnite PS5 Bundle is going to work, these are all of the items and the exclusivity explained:
A new Fortnite PS5 Bundle has just been announced, a package of skins and items coming as a download code along with a PS5 Console. These types of Bundles have been around since the earliest Fortnite seasons. They were boxes with Fortnite all over it, like a normal console game bundle.
The big difference is that Fortnite is a free game. There’s no disc or even download code for it… instead the console bundles a download code for Fortnite cosmetics. This time, it’s a set called the Flowering Choas Bundle. And it’s showing just how many different types of cosmetics Fortnite offers now.

There’s more cosmetics than ever coming with the Fortnite PS5 bundle. Not just Fortnite skins, or even a backbling and glider anymore. It includes a ton of items and V-Bucks. This is the full package:
The bundle is coming with a lot more items than we’ve seen in the past. There are the obvious ones, but we’re getting musical instruments for Fortnite Festival too. Even shoes with Kicks! It’s a strangle bundle, as it seems in the past the skin might have just had the shoes as part of it. But it’s a pretty full package. The only thing missing are Fortnite sidekicks! But that’s a brand new type of cosmetic, so probably too early to be included in this Fortnite PS5 bundle.

That’s what is coming in the Fortnite PS5 Bundle but when is it out? It seems it’s being timed for the Christmas release window. It’s going to be available on November 20th. That’s when players can pick it up and redeem the code for extra items and use it in Fortnite.
The bundle is only coming for PS5 too, not for PS4. But players who don’t fancy getting a console just for a Fortnite skin can buy the code from -resellers. Although, what they’ll charge might be completely random. Don’t expect it to line up with the actual Fortnite account value of this skin.
The Fortnite PS5 Bundle is quite different in a few ways too. It seems its losing exclusivity.

In the past, console bundle skins have been some of the rarest skins in the game. Since they’re limited in number and players lose codes over the years. There’s real scarcity. However, this time it won’t happen.
At the bottom of the trailer for this new bundle is confirmation that it’s only got limited exclusivity. It’ll be exclusive to this bundle owner and PS5 until November 26th 2026. So, around a year from where the game releases. The Fortnite PS5 bundle probably won’t rise up the list of rarest skins given that it won’t be exclusive. It seems it’ll follow the pattern of more recent Battle Passes.
Lately, we’ve seen the Fortnite Battle Pass lose its exclusivity for items too. While they can take 18 months, they can come back now. Instead of being completely tied to the console bundle, this skin can come back too. It’s a change that is a bit more friendly to players. Not great for those who obsess over the rarest Fortnite skins, but good for anyone who actually likes getting the skins at a reasonable price.
