MSC Wildcard Day 4 ended, and the team to move on to the MSC 2025 Group Stage are now locked in!
There is going to be a 1 week break for the wildcard team to adjust while the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2025 takes place. Then we’ll get the Group Stage. Here’s everything that’s happened in MSC Wildcard Day 4:

Virtus.pro opened their draft with a Kimmy, which can be flexed to Gold and Mid Lane. Rare Atom responded with a first pick Lancelot and a Wu Zetian, really emphasizing the priority pick of China with the hero. With the Lancelot picked, they gave Badkot an opportunity to play one of his heroes, Phoveus.
As the game starts, Rare Atom tried to make a move on Virtus.pro’s jungle to try and disrupt Andoryuuu’s jungle pathing but it backfired swiftly as VP were ready to counteract. Virtus.pro’s Badkot and Pluto didn’t let any single RA member near any neutral objective, This led to VP gradually increasing their lead by getting all of the objectives, to winning the first game of the match.
Rare Atom still prioritized Wu Zetian but this time, they opened with Hayabusa instead of a Lancelot. Surprisingly, Virtus.pro’s composition was really different from last game, having a front to back scaling composition.
Rare Atom saw this as an opportunity to counter all of VP’s heroes with a Karrie pick. Not only that, they adjusted their overall plan to be more aggressive early game since they saw the lack of damage VP had. RA snowballed out of control, with VP not even able to contest and dish out enough damage to take out any member of RA, leading to RA ending the game as early as 11 minutes. This tied up the series 1-1, resetting the match to a Best of 3 for MSC Wildcard Day 4.
Game 3 had a more balanced draft from both teams, but yet another Phoveus was given to Badkot, after flexing VP’s Arlott first pick. Similar to the first game, both the frontliners boxed out Rare Atom heavily, especially Badkot penetrating their backline to disrupt their source of damage.
One Final Slash Flicker from Pluto’s Arlott to pick off RA’s jungler Lanaya was all it took to swing the game heavily to VP’s favor. VP took the lord immediately after the pickoff, then pushed with it going to match point in favor of Virtus.pro.

The last chance of MSC Wildcard Day 4 was for RA having a tempo game with their draft as well as preventing VP’s 3 marksman setup. Unfortunately, with VP’s early burst damage, RA couldn’t contest against VP in any team fights that happened early to mid game. That didn’t stop RA from defending their base 3 times, even if VP had taken 2 lords to push with. The 3rd lord was now contestable in favor of RA as they have scaled enough to fight against VP.
A slight miscalculation from VP’s jungler Andoryuuu happened, using Retribution to the lord slightly early, letting the lord live with 70 hp. Lanaya saw an opportunity to take the lord since the other members of RA were fighting other members of VP. They picked of Andoryuuu but at the cost of 3 members of RA. The lord spawned at the wrong lane to prevent VP from pushing but with 4v2 is too much to handle for RA to bounce back. Virtus.pro continues on to the next stage of MSC 2025.
The groupings of each team have been determined and the Group Stage of MSC 2025 will start on July 23, 2025. Much more intense matches are coming up in the next few weeks of MLBB Esports.
