Now the MSC Wildcard stage is done with, we can look ahead to the MLBB MSC Group Stage. We now have the full match ups for the opening of the Mid-Season Cup.
All 16 teams have their slots determined now the wildcard of MSC 2025 has ended. Virtus.pro won against their wildcard grand final opponent, Rare Atom, 3-1 with a near-easy snowball in their wins. They are now up against 15 great teams waiting for them in one week’s time.
The format of the Group Stage of MSC 2025 is splitting the 16 teams into 2 groups. Each group is a double elimination bracket. The top four teams move forward at the end of the bracket. Since it’s double elimination, teams do have a second chance. But half the teams will be eliminated here.
The catch for this year’s MSC is that teams with a score of 2-0 will be picking their opponents from the 2-1 score pool. The fastest total time for their matches will be the first one to pick their opponents in the first stage of the knockouts.
Here are the MSC Group Stage matchups that we’ll see:
Group A
Group B

SRG.OG’s roster is the current defending champion and is going to start their match with the Wildcard winner, Virtus.pro. Another match to look out for is ONIC vs. CFU Gaming, as ONIC tries to erase their last year’s nightmare of being 2-0 by a Cambodian team, ultimately stopping them from entering the knockouts.
Out of all the teams, everyone is waiting for the international comeback of Team Liquid. MSC this year is going to be a spectacle, as there are many strong MLBB teams joining or coming back to the tournament.
Before the Mid-Season Cup continues to the Group Stage, the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025 at the EWC will take place! Make sure to watch the women’s league, as there are a lot of promising teams.
