Professional player Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer has officially parted ways with Team Vitality, leaving the team after only playing one split as a role swapped support.
The announcement came directly from Team Vitality, who posted a farewell post on X: “We would like to thank Nisqy for the insight he’s brought to the team, and the hard work he put into trying to make this project work,” said the statement.
The organization also added that Nisqy has expressed his interest in going back to the mid lane, the role he was playing prior to role-swapping, which led to the two parties parting ways.
Shortly after the announcement, Nisqy explained on stream that he wasn’t aligned with the coaching staff on the approach heading into the Summer Split. He also added that he won’t be joining another team this summer as a mid laner, and that he might consider retirement if there are no LEC projects for him for the next season.
According to Sheep Esports, Team Vitality’s vacant support role will be filled by the academy player Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz, pending visa approval for the Turkish support. This is going to be the third different support player on the starting lineup this year, after Nisqy had stepped in for Hylissang prior to the start of the LEC Spring Split.
Despite Nisqy’s characteristics and innate playstyle being transferrable to the support role, the experiment from Team Vitality didn’t yield the expected results, with the French team missing out on the LEC Spring playoffs after losing the tiebreaker to Team Heretics.
After the failed experiment of creating “super teams” with veterans such as Perkz, Upset, and Chinese import Bo in 2022 and 2023, Team Vitality has shifted its attention to using a mix of veteran players alongside rising talents from the tier two scene.
At the start of the 2025 season, the French team promoted top laner Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan and mid laner Mateusz “Czajek” Czajka from the LFL academy roster, and paired them up with Linas “Lyncas” Nauncikas, who previously played for Karmine Corp Blue in 2024.
With Nisqy now no longer on the roster, Vitality is now bringing another player from the tier-two scene. In reality, Fleshy had already collected some experience in tier one competitions when he competed as the starting support for Immortals back in 2023. He was picked up after an impressive 2022 season on NASR, where he even won TCL’s Rookie of the Split. His stint on IMT, however, didn’t last long, as he joined Turkish team Papara SuperMassive before playing for Karmine Corp Blue in the LFL last year.
Fleshy joined Vitality’s academy team at the start of the 2025. Despite performing well in both Winter and Spring splits, the academy team wasn’t able to maintain the same level of performance in the following stages, with the latest elimination in the LFL Spring Playoffs. The 0-3 loss against BK ROG Esports meant that the team wouldn’t qualify for the upcoming EMEA Masters Spring.
