While ADC is probably the most team-dependent role in the game, it’s also the one that allows you to impact teamfights the most. By providing consistent damage, you can take over lanes and fights if ahead. The best ADC picks change with every patch, so it’s important for players to know which champions are the strongest to increase their chances of victory.
To help you in this process, we’ve created a tier list of the best ADCs in LoL Patch 25.18, explaining their main strengths as well as weaknesses and potential counters.
Sivir has been the best ADC for quite some time and Riot has finally decided to strike her with a nerf in the coming Patch 25.19. The change won’t break her but we are expecting to see her drop in priority as other ADCs will be stepping up. The marksman is one of the best when it comes to late-game DPS and waveclearing while having an easy time in the laning phase thanks to her spellshield.
In S-tier, we have a lot of shakeups. Kai’Sa is slowly rising in the meta once again, with other crit hypercarries progressively losing power. Draven is still performing well, although he is usually considered a high Elo pick due to his short time window to get fed and snowball. Vayne has been finding a lot of success across most Elos due to her carry potential and high mobility. Unless she is nerfed over the next updates, expect her to be a priority pick. Ashe, following the buffs in this patch, is also returned to relevance: she is mostly used in the lower ends of the ranked ladder due to her friendly kit and strong utility with her kit.
These are the main ADCs you will be seeing in most of your games. They shouldn’t have high ban rates, meaning that you will get to play them in most scenarios. In particular, among this tier, the champions worth picking up are Yunara and Jinx, who is receiving a buff in the next patch and is expected to perform better.
These are still good options to play, especially if you are able to pair them up with their best support combination. Aphelios continues to be a sleepy champion and should be higher rated, but the required mastery can be a bit too much for most players to deal with.
Be on the lookout for Caitlyn as she is getting a buff next patch.
The three weakest picks among the ADCs. Avoid playing them as much as possible, unless you have specific supports that you can maximize the synergy with.
Sivir continues to be the best ADC in Patch 25.18. She is one of the strongest champions in the late game but can also navigate through the laning phase thanks to her spell sheild and strong waveclear.
The best champions to play in low Elo are Jinx and Kai’Sa. Both champions have incredible scaling, great carry potential, and most importantly, they are perfect for highlight plays.
If you want to solo carry games, then Vayne is probably the best champion for this patch. She can easily win teamfights alone thanks to her mobility and she is less reliant on having a team to cover for her compared to other marksmen.
