A new Fortnite live event starts soon, but what time do you need to be there to catch it? When is the Daft Punk Fortnite event? This is going to be our first concert in quite a while. We did get a Creative concert for Metallica, and a couple over the Fortnite Remix mini-season. But the Daft Punk X Fortnite event is the biggest we’ve had in about a year.
We’re expecting some really cool features. Along with new Daft Punk Fortnite collabs like skins, there will also be an in-game event. It’s one of those one-time live events! If you miss it, that might be it. So it’s important to know what time it’s coming.
Sometimes Epic re-runs the concerts. Lately, the live events featuring musicians have popped up more than once. Especially those in Creative that can be re-run. However, live events are usually a one-time thing. And there’s always a better atmosphere catching it while it’s brand new. So, there’s always the risk you’ll miss out if you skip it forever. What time is the Daft Punk Fortnite event and what can we expect?
When is the Daft Punk Fortnite Event?
If you want to catch the Daft Punk Fortnite event, it’s taking place on September 27th! A nice weekend timeslot for what’s set to be one of the most exciting Fortnite events in a while. It’ll be a just-see for fans of the Duos. Especially if the rumours of a huge set-list turn out to be right. Usually, Fortnite concerts are a great experience even if you’re not a super fan though. With a whole visual element that brings it alive, massive effects to make it a fuller experience for everyone in the game.
You won’t be able to find it just by jumping into the normal Battle Royale. This Daft Punk Fortnite event is taking place at a different time.
The event is taking part in a Creative Discovery Mode, not Battle Royale. However, since it’s going to be a long one… we might not see it re-ran. In the past, Creative concerts have had some re-runs… but usually for Festival, or when an event had connection problems that locked some players out. This time we might not get a second chance at attending. So, if you want to make sure you don’t miss the Daft Punk X Fortnite event, you’ll need to be there on September 27th.
What Time is the Daft Punk Fortnite Event?
What time will the event start? It’s currently scheduled for 2PM ET! That’s when it starts. The exact time will be this in each time zone:
- 11 AM PT
- 2 PM ET
- 19 PM BST
- 20 PM CET
- 4 AM Saturday ACT
Some regions get a more convenient time than others, depending on how big each of the Fortnite server regions is. But for most of the world it’s at an okay time.
Players will need to get into the game a little earlier if they want to make sure it goes smoothly. These lobbies can fill up. Plus, there’s sometimes connection issues which means it can lag out at times. Arriving half an hour early is usually the safe call. Players typically hang out in the lobby, emote with each other. Sometimes there’s even a mini game to kill the time.
Daft Punk X Fortnite
That’s when the whole Daft Punk Fortnite event is happening, but what can we expect?
There’s even been claims of it being a 31-song set! Essentially as long as a headline set for the band. It might not quite be that long though, since that would be about ten times the length of the concerts in all past Fortnite seasons. It’s bound to be an exciting and fresh take on the Fortnite concert though.
The event will also see skins released. One for each of the anonymous French musicians. Along with extra items to match the rest of the loadout. These skins will probably be all over the item shop when we reach the Daft Punk X Fortnite event on Saturday.
The emotes will likely be a hit! Some of the bigger Daft Punk songs are getting emotes here with some creative dances too. Get Lucky as a group emote will be good for the event. These Daft Punk X Fortnite items are all coming in a bundle with the skins. The outfits are the main event out of the crossover! We’ve had quite a few Fortnite Icons added lately. But the iconic Daft Punk designs will fit right in for Fortnite. They might even be plain enough to fit that low-lag skin requirement players need for competitive level play too.
