If you’ve fallen behind on your Battle Pass already, it’s going to get a bit easier. Fortnite Supercharged XP is returning! After some recent problems with the game’s service, players are going to have the chance to make some of that XP back. But they’ll need to concentrate their grinding over the next few days to make the most out of it.

In this early stage of the season, we’re starting to see the proper meta emerge. But a lot of that got cut off lately, as Fortnite was down for pretty much everyone. Some are still reporting issues. But largely the game is back online. If you want to make up for any XP lost in that downtime, then Fortnite Supercharged XP is a great opportunity. A chance to earn extra XP for four days! It works a bit differently to normal Fortnite Supercharged XP though.
Why has it been activated and how can you make the most out of it?
Fortnite Supercharged XP On All Weekend
The Fortnite Supercharged XP event is happening until Monday. It’s gone live now! Plus, there’s Twitch drops available for the same period of time. This whole event was planned to line up with the free items in drops and encourage everyone to check the game out again.
While drops are great to get players to look in on the best Fortnite streamers, Supercharged XP is a bit more helpful. The current Fortnite season has nerfed XP gains. Since it’s a little longer, players will get less XP for just about everything. This will keep play time up. It’s a bit frustrating. The base line for XP has been lowered and lowered with each season. Often, they really take it down, then put it back to much lower than before, and call it a boost. Now it’s a longer season it’s even lower XP than normal too.

That means XP events like this are even more useful. It’ll probably be the best time to grind out levels before the season ends. Players will receive more XP than normal for everything over the next three days.
How Does Supercharged XP Work?
Fortnite supercharged XP is on all weekend, but it’s a system which can be a bit different depending on where it turns up. Normally, Supercharged XP activates when you miss enough Dailys. To encourage you to check back in, you get extra XP. But it only works until you’ve re-earned the missed Daily XP. So, you don’t really end up with anything extra, it’s just a bit more concentrated.
It’s different when there’s a Supercharged XP event on. This is an overall boost to your XP. You’ll receive more XP for everything. For wins, for kills, doing quests. Even for grinding in the best Fortnite XP maps, with just an overall boost to the XP you get.
These events can mean a lot more XP overall. You’re only really limited by the overall XP gap, which sets a hard limit on the amount you’ll gain in a day or week. But that limit is huge, it probably won’t be an issue for the Fortnite Supercharged XP. With this event, players should be able to make a much bigger dent on their Battle Pass and unlocking all of the new skins.

Getting the Most Out of It
The Fortnite Supercharged XP event is happening all weekend, but how can you make the most out of it? All you really need to do is earn XP.
If you play more you’ll get more than you used to. Grinding on XP maps or performing really well in Battle Royale will have the best payoff! There’s plenty of time to get the Battle Pass done this season though. This will cut down on the ticking clock a little bit though.
