Fortnite Story Moment Start Time – Mini Event

This weekend won’t be a new Fortnite season, but we are about to get a new Fortnite story moment. It was announced earlier in the week. Alongside further trailers detailing what’s happening with the Dark Voyager, we’ve seen a Fortnite live event happen. That story will continue this weekend with the Fortnite mini event.

Essentially, this weekend there will be a short thing happening in Battle Royale to push forward the Fortnite lore. It can get a bit complicated though. At this point, Epic has started called this kind of thing a Fortnite mini event, a Fortnite live event, and now “story moment” can be added to this list. Which we can presume is called that because it’s even smaller than a Fortnite mini event, just a brief moment. It’ll be a fun development while we wait for Chapter 7 Season 2 though.

How can you make sure you catch the Fortnite story moment? This is when it’s going to take place in game and make sure you don’t miss it. These kinds of things don’t get re-run normally.

When is the Fortnite Story Moment?

Fortnite’s had a weird week with the announcement of the Fortnite V-Bucks changes, and being stuck in a season that’s past its sell by date. Even with the delays though, the Fortnite season will end soon. This weekend we’re seeing a Fortnite mini event happen. This is what’s been announced so far:

“first the sprite homeworld, and now Lethal Labs?! The Dark Voyager is on a tear across realities – tune in Saturday @ 3:30 PM ET for a new Story Moment. “

We can guess the Fortnite story moment is a tiny version of a Fortnite live event. It’ll move the Dark Voyager plot on. That’s the start time in one time one though. These are some of the other times so you can figure out when it actually starts for you:

• 5:30 AM AEST

That’s the start time for the Fortnite mini event that’s happening. If you want to get in on time, you need to be in the game before hand though. You have to be in the right spot once it begins.

Where to Find the Fortnite Mini Event

That’s when you can catch it, but how do you make sure you don’t miss it in-game? The first thing you need to do is use the right game mode. But you’ll likely also need to head to a spot on the map.

The Fortnite live event will be taking place in BR modes. Go with Battle Royale, any of the sub-modes other than Ranked. However, once in-game, you need to keep an eye out. The Fortnite mini event should be happening in the Lethal Labs POI. This is the center POI in the middle of the map. It has been the focus for a ton of story developments this season.

Once the Fortnite story moment begins, players should get immunity from damage. This has been missing in some recent Fortnite live event set-ups. But this time players should be safe to enjoy the event. You’ll just need to make sure you’re there at the right time.
