There’s a batch of new FNCS Major 3 Twitch drops coming! This week, the Fortnite Champion Series’ last Major of the year is reaching its next stage. The Play In is taking place now, but then we’ve got the Group Stage. That’s when the Fortnite trios get narrowed down to just the very best in each region. Then, they’ll have their shot at the finals and the last slots at the LAN coming up.This is where all the broadcasts for the tournaments begin proper.
We’ve had some Fortnite streamers hosting the Divisional Cups, but it’s a little tricky to actually watch. Same for the Play In. Starting now though, we’re getting official broadcasts back. To go with it, there will be new Fortnite Twitch drops for players.
There are two different items in the FNCS Major 3 Twitch Drops up for grabs. Players will have to start watching this weekend if they want to unlock everything! These are the new FNCS Major 3 Twitch drops you can expect and how to get them.
All FNCS Major 3 Twitch Drops
There’s a handful of new items here to entice players into watching the FNCS this month. While you can’t unlock a brand-new skin with the FNCS Major 3 Drops, there are some items. These will be two extra items to go in your Fortnite locker. A new emoticon, and a new Back Bling. These are the Twitch Drops you can unlock this time:
- FNCS Coin Emoticon
- FNCS Charger Backbling
It’s a nice two item set. It’s always fun to get cosmetics like backblings in the Twitch Drops. The emoticons buff out your locker, but most players aren’t really going to get much out of them. A backbling though could go with a loads of the best Fortnite skins. Especially since we get a lot of FNCS skins, a new one each Major. The FNCS Major 3 drops might not be as exciting as unlocking the FNCS pickaxe, but it’s always good to get something just for tuning in.
To get everything, you’ll have to watch a few hours of FNCS Major 3. This is how you can unlock them.
How to Unlock Them
How can you unlock each of the drops? As these are FNCS drops, you’ll have to watch one of the official streams if you want to unlock anything. Re-streams and other things won’t be eligible this time around. If you want to get the FNCS Major 3 Twitch drops, you need to tune into the Twitch channel for Fortnite, or Brazil Fortnite. Both are going to be showing their respective regions FNCS finals and Groups. Although, the other Fortnite regions don’t get broadcasts for the FNCS. So, it’s just NAC, Europe, and Brazil which will be eligible for the drops.
The tournament dates are a little different depending on the region. But if you watch over these stages of the event it’ll count towards the drops:
- July 20th – Group 1
- July 26th – Group 2
- July 27th – Group 3
- August 2 – Finals 1
- August 3 – Finals 2
Players can get the Coin Emoticon by watching for an hour during the Group stage. Then the back bling for watching for an hour over the finals. You’ll have to tune into both if you want to unlock everything!
How to Make Sure You’re Eligible
For most players who have been collecting these drops each season, it’ll be as easy as tuning in. if you’re new to unlocking cosmetics this way though, there is a bit more work to do. Players will need to make sure that their Epic account and Twitch account are connected. You can then make sure it’s all connected up in the Drops Inventory part of Twitch.
Most FNCS Twitch drops tend to appear in your Fortnite locker right after you’ve unlocked them. However, the game can have a delay sometimes. Players might have to wait up to two weeks to see them in their account. It is usually a lot quicker though!
Legends Landing, YouTube, and More
One of the more exciting ways to watch FNCS has always been Legends landing. It’s the in-game map where you can watch the biggest events alongside other players. It’ll be showing the Finals this time around, on the Creative Map. But it won’t be eligible for drops! Unfortunately, the FNCS Major 3 drops will only work for Twitch this time around.
Neither will the official YouTube streams. Players can watch the next FNCS stage on YouTube, TikTok, the official Fortnite website. But none of these methods are eligible for drops. Neither are re-streams of the game. If you prefer a different streamer to the official caster, you won’t receive the FNCS drops.
There’s always the option of leaving the Twitch stream running in the background then actually watching on whatever platform is easiest for you though! You don’t have to keep the sound on to get the drops, and there’s no way to make sure it’s your active window. So, if you want to follow along elsewhere you can still unlock everything.
