We’re approaching the finale for Fortnite chapter 6 Season 2 esports, where the best FNCS Major 2 teams will play in a Grand Final. Which are the teams most worth watching as we head into the tournament?

There are tons of hopefuls who have been fighting for their spot in the finale. However, only 100 players will make it into the Final lobbies. And only a select three in each region will win. There’s always room for surprises in the FNCS, but looking at how things have gone so far, who are all the FNCS Major 2 Trios worth keeping an eye on over the finals? There’s quite a few who have already risen to the top of the pack in this season’s FNCS players.
Top 5 FNCS Major 2 Trios to Watch
1. Peterbot, Cold, Ritual

In the first place for FNCS Major 2 Trios, there’s clearly one standout. The Peterbot, Cold, and Ritual Trio. They might not have won last season, but things got very close.
Peterbot and Pollo were the winning Duo most of last Chapter, they split last season. Pollo‘s team took Victory in Major 1. But Peterbot’s performance massively improved on Day 2. Involving numerous clutch ups, sometimes even with Peter running as the only surviving member. The Trio has the ability to take on everyone else in the lobby. If it were a contest of 1-v-1s, there wouldn’t be a conversation. However, Peterbot’s team ran into problems last time with team synergy. Pollo’s squad was just more consistent.
What’s the natural solution to this problem? Re-uniting Peterbot and Pollo would probably do it. They reunited (at Ritual’s expense) to compete as Peterbot, Pollo, and Cold in Weeks 1, 2, and 3. But for 4 and 5 Peterbot has been back with Ritual and Cold instead. Its been a lot of mixing around, but both team have been on top. Out of a lobby of FNCS players, they won the first 4 and took 2nd in the 5th week. An incredible run for Peterbot and Cold, that definitely shows they’re on another level this season. Last season had some unexpected hiccups, but they seem to be the best in the lobby this time.
2. Pollo, Ajerss, and Acorn

The next squad to look at is the team of Pollo, Ajerss, and Acorn. These are the returning Champions from last season. Plus, Pollo has been winning every NCS event since Chapter 5 Season 2, so quite a run. Last Season they ran away with it. Establishing an early lead, then spending the tournament staying ahead enough to play it safe. After the mixing up of NCS Major 2 trios from Pollo in early weeks, hey were back together for the final divisional cups.
Pollo’s squad didn’t go for the showey pop offs as often as other teams. They played consistently though. They played for the points on offer, supported each other, and kept an eye on the scoreboard. In the end they nearly lost it after Peterbot’s run in the final games. However, The team’s consistency approach has been borne out as the way to compete in FNCS events. They lead in Day 1 ultimately proved unbeatable last Major. We could see an early repeat this time too.
3. Clix, Eomzo, and Batman Bugha

The Clix, Eomzo, and Batman Bugha squad really popped off in Chapter 6 Season 1, and expectations are high for this season. Clix even got a Fortnite Icon Skin between the two FNCS Majors! So he’ll be dressed with some extra style this time. Only one other team in the FNCS players has that.
This pick for the FNCS Major 2 Trios has shown they can compete with the other Champions. The Trio has been an impressive showcase of how three existing players can gel together. Batman Bugh and Eomzo aren’t the most recognizable names on the roster, but they’ve definitely been some of the stronger players in the season’s lobbies. Their results in Divisional Cups have been impressive too.
4. Rapid, Bugha, and Threats

Last, we’ve got another FNCS Major 2 Trio with an outsized name. Bugha. The Fortnite World Cup Champion and one of the players with highest earnings. It was a long time ago, but Bugha has won numerous FNCS events in the years since. Leading up to recent Chapters where we’ve seen him consistently place.
The new trio of Rapid Bugha and Threats felt just a step behind the top flight in C6 S1. Undoubtably one of the best team son the map. But not on the level of the top few placing teams, which they’ll need to exceed if they want to get to the LAN. These have all shown an incredible resilience in Fortnite before though. They’re not the type of FNCS players you can write off if they take a season to adjust.
This trio could definitely rise to meet the other FNCS Major 2 trios mentioned here in the Finals.
5. Muz, Japko, Rise

Muz, Japko, and Rise have all been strong players over the last few seasons. With some particularly impressive recent results as FNCS players to their name.
In the first Major of Chapter 6, they came in 5th. Out of all 33 in the Major, it’s an accomplishment. Muz also won the Esports World Cup in 2024 too. The Trios results have been particularly strong this time around though. Muz has a longer history has a strong performer, including with Mero and Bugha back in Chapter 2. The Trio together for Chapter 6 could go all the way.
FNCS Major 2 Trios
Those are the standouts at the moment. Looking at FNCS Major 2 trios though, there’s definitely a lot of hype behind the big established names. But what’s interesting about these events is the capacity for surprises. There’s a whole lobby of players in every server, so we could see some upsets. Although, the Peterbot and Pollo trios definetely feel like on a different level still. The little upsets with team switching could mean there’s room for a Trio like Clix’s to take the lead this time.
