How Many FNCS has Mongraal Won?

Achieving any FNCS win is a big feat. With so many different regions for Fortnite esports though, and an FNCS winner every season, it’s quite a long list at this point. Winning multiple might be what sets a player apart. Despite being one of the best known Fortnite players and longest-lasting pros, the answer to how many FNCS has Mongraal won might be lower than you’d think.

How Many FNCS Has Mongraal Won?

Mongraal has only won a single FNCS. Back in Chapter 2. Despite being pretty far from the player with the most FNCS wins though, the player is much more well-known than a lot of pros. This is partially down to when he had the most success in the game. He was a major pro and name in Fortnite in the game’s early days.

While he has a single FNCS win to his name, he has won other events. Including earlier FNCS qualifiers. He’s still making the finals consistently and even placing high enough to be a real contender. Without an FNCS win since Chapter 2 though, we might not see a change to how many FNCS has Mongraal won.

Mongraal in Competitive Fortnite Before the FNCS Win

In the early days of competitive Fortnite, things were a bit different. For a long time, we didn’t even have proper tournaments. Epic hosted the occasional event like the Winter Royale. But players largely competed in community organized events like Friday Fortnite. That changed with the World Cup, as Epic began to roll out Fortnite esports. Even offering one of the biggest prize pools in esports history to ensure it made a splash.

Mongraal was a part of Fortnite esports since quite early. He competed in Friday Fortnite, and eventually when the time came, the World Cup Qualifiers. Where he competed regularly to try and secure his slot. At the World Cup itself, he claimed 13th for Solos. And then 6th for Duos with Mitr0. Not the kind of result that would make him one of the highest earning players, but impressive out of the whole world.

Mongraal continued to compete after this. Taking part in the Europe region for FNCS. In early Fortnite seasons with an FNCS, he played with Benjyishy and Mitr0. Some of the best players active by then.

Mongraal in the FNCS

This trio competed in early FNCS tournaments and Cash Cups. Beginning to amass earnings and becoming a strong trio in the EU Fortnite server. In Season X though, they finally placed 10th in the finals. Mongraal’s Squad of Wolfez, Benjyfishy, and nayte went on to come in second for Chapter 2 Season 1 though.

This team continued to change as Chapter 2 rolled on. Especially since the format mixed things up so frequently in the early days of the FNCS. But the player regularly achieved strong placements in the FNCS. By Chapter 2 Season 4, they achieved the only Mongraal FNCS win. Playing with Mitr0 and TaySon. These are some of the best Fortnite players. Along with Benjyfishy, it shows he was always fielding a team of some of the biggest Fortnite talent.

Since that win though, he hasn’t won an FNCS. Competition heated up in future seasons. He carried on competing but by Chapter 3 was placing quite a bit lower. The game had changed. Especially at this level. By 2024, he was coming in the bottom 15 in FNCS Finals, and only scraping through qualifiers. Although, He has managed to climb back up those rankings more recently.

Does Mongraal Still Compete?

Mongraal might not be at the S-Tier of Fortnite players anymore, but does he still compete? As of the most recent season, Mongraal was still competing in Fortnite esports! He entered the Divisional Cups for the final Major of Chapter 6. Came in 20th in the Pro-Am the season before.

In Chapter 6, Mongraal’s best performance has been in Europe for Major 1. He came in 8th in the Grand Finals, along with MrSavage and panzer. It doesn’t look like he will make it to the LAN this time. Although, there is still one more Major left to change that.

The more recent results show there’s still room for development from Mongraal. He might end up with another FNCS win eventually. This could end up being one of the longer gaps between FNCS wins!

Mongraal still making top 10 at FNCS events is a big accomplishment. They might only have one FNCS win so far, but being top 10 in Europe is still huge.

Mongraal the Streamer

Mongraal has become a more well-known Fortnite player than those with a lot more FNCS wins. Largely because of his role as a streamer and content creator. The player was a very popular streamer earlier in Fortnite. While he’s been back and forth with esports results for Fortnite, he remains a pretty popular streamer.

Streamers often don’t focus on competitive events. Preferring to play freely, often stomping in pubs rather than more competitive games. He does still keep up with Fortnite esports though. experimented with other games too. Like Valorant, and streams just talking. Mongraal is still primarily focused on Fortnite, even if it has been a while since the last FNCS win they pull in huge numbers streaming.
