The Fortnite Simpsons mini season is here, and the loot pool has a much more stripped back design. While it is quite well balanced, there are some overpowered weapons still. Fortnite Simpsons Mythics and Exotics are in the game! It’s not the most Mythic-focused season, but they’re here and you can get a major advantage using them.

All Fortnite Simpsons Mythics and Exotics

The latest season of Fortnite has changed its core approach to overpowered loot. For the past few seasons, the game has had one-of-a-kind game winning stuff that drops in the same place every game. Half the human players die trying to get it, and whoever does steamrolls through the lobby since the game rewards the winners with stuff like bunkers. Finally, we’ve had a bit of a change lately.

There might be some Fortnite Simpsons Mythics, but they aren’t a must-carry anymore. They’re quite restrained. It’s also not as many single instance items, instead just powered up versions of widely available loot.

These weapons are a bit mixed in design. Quite a few of them are Mythic versions of the existing loot. But there is a novelty weapon with a completely unique effect, one that’s been dominating in lobbies since the season began. These are all of the Fortnite Simpsons Mythics and Exotics in the game right now:

The one exotic in this season is a special version of Mr Blasty! This gun functions like the normal one, but with the effect of giving players a balloon once they get hit too!

This is a weird weapon. It’s great for getting a bit of mobility. In early Fortnite Simpsons tournaments, played figured out some unique uses for the gun too! You can use it to apply balloons to enemies even if they’re behind a wall, since it has a wide area of effect. The Lil Blasty weapon is definitely one of the best this season. If just because of how unique it is.

Mythic Compact SMG

The next of the Fortnite Simpsons Mythics is just back to an enhanced version of the base loot. The SMG comes in a Mythic variety! Since the Fortnite loot pool is so small this time, it’s one of the better items to carry. The SMG is dropped by the Witch Marge boss. You’ll have to track her down to get it though.

Mythic Tactical Shotgun

The next of the Fortnite Simpsons Mythics is the Tactical Shotgun! The Mythic form of this is dropped by Evil Homer in Fortnite. You’ll need to defeat him to get the gun.

Mythic shotguns tend to be great weapons. In the past, we’ve seen players dominate the FNCS with them. But the Tactical Shotgun is far from the best item in the game. The Ranger and the Pump both outgun it. Even the Mythic form is a bit weaker than those, but since it’s so much faster it does have some benefits.

Jedidiah Head

Maybe the most interesting of the Fortnite Simpsons Mythics is this one. Not only is it a completely unique item, but it’s a fun easter egg for fans of the Simpsons too.

One of the most well-known moments from the show’s first season is Bart stealing the head off the Jabidah Springfield statue, the founder of the town. The cut off head is here in Fortnite too. It’s also one of the only Fortnite Simpsons Mythics that is in the same place every game.

The head is located on the Jedidiah Statue in the center of the Springfield town square POI. You’ll likely know exactly where to go if you’re a fan of the show. To get it, you’ll need to shoot it off of the statue first! Then, you can pick it up off the floor and wear it. It’ll protect you from a single headshot blast, which is kind of invaluable in fights. You’ll also be able to pick it back up whenever you get shot. So, it protects once, but infinite times.

It’s definitely one of the best Fortnite items this season. It being in the same spot every game makes it a lot easier to track down too. It’ll make that a big landing spot for the Fortnite tournaments this season.

Those are all of the Fortnite Simpsons Mythics! Since these weapons are largely random, it can be tricky to track them down. However, this has the benefit of meaning the best Fortnite players in the lobby don’t immediately snowball into getting the best loot guaranteed too. It’s a different approach, and a welcome one after so many seasons of completely overpowered weapons, medallions, and boons.
