Vitality and Grand Finals – it’s just the way it is nowadays. They can add another one to their massive tally after beating The MongolZ 2:0 to reach the Final of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. In doing so, they have set up a clash with PARIVISION, who beat MOUZ earlier in the day.

Vitality survive map one scare to secure yet another Grand Final

There were very few surprises in the veto, with The MongolZ opting for a Mirage map one. But against this Vitality, there simply are no weaknesses to exploit, so you feel damned no matter where you go. Regardless, The MongolZ, with a chunk of the PGL Cluj-Napoca crowd on the side, gave it their very best, Techno and cobrazera leading the charge with 22 kills apiece at the end of the action.

After two 6:6 halves, The MongolZ were able to secure overtime. Vitality looked all too vulnerable for a moment there, and if not for some moments of individual heroics, there may have been a world where The MongolZ took this. But once we got to OT, Vitality flipped the switch. Just one OT round dropped, for a 16:13 win. The MongolZ were plucky, but their efforts were all for nought as the heavy favorites took a lead in the series.

The MongolZ are no slouches on Vitality’s map pick of Dust2, either. They managed to get three rounds very early in the second map, but that haul proved to be all they could muster. The energy, completely depleted from the marathon Mirage. Vitality would go on an incredible 12-round streak to secure a 13:3 victory, putting a run to The MongolZ’ run in at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026.

At a point, you have to ask: where does it end for Vitality? They’re certainly the greatest team of the modern era, and are realistically top two of all time at an absolute minimum. They show no signs of slowing down, and another potential trophy awaits if they can survive the banana peel that is Jame’s PARIVISION in tomorrow’s Final.
