Thunderpick has announced the full list of teams invited to the Thunderpick WC 2025 Closed Qualifier, as well as the first four invited teams heading the main event LAN in Malta later this year. The team list is headlined by NAVI and The MongolZ, the latter of which won last year’s iteration of the event.

First up is the Thunderpick WC 2025 Closed Qualifier, which is set to get underway in just a few days’ time. Running between September 9th – 11th, the online event sees 12 VRS-invited teams and four wildcard invites duke it out for just four slots at the main LAN. No cash prize here, but the chance to compete for a share of the $850,000 in the main event makes it all worth it.
The wildcard invites include some recognizable names including M80 and Imperial, all of whom fought their way through earlier regional qualifiers to make it to this stage. Also of note are teams like NIP and ENCE, two big names who have seen their LAN opportunities limited throughout 2025. The full list of Thunderpick WC 2025 Closed Qualifier teams is as follows:

Thunderpick has also announced the first four teams competing at the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 in Malta. Between October 15th and 19th, eight teams will fly out to Malta for their shot at glory. It’s bigger and better this time around, with The MongolZ emerging victorious in Berlin last time around.
The champs are back for another go of it in the 2025 iteration, too. The MongolZ are the headliners of the first four Thunderpick World Championship 2025 teams, also joined by NAVI, FURIA, and Aurora in accepting invites to the event. They will then be joined by the four Closed Qualifier winners to round out the team list.
