Thunderpick officially announces return of Thunderpick World Championship in 2027

With previous events held in 2023, 2024, and 2025, the TPWC is now an annual event for Thunderpick. Boasting previous winners like FaZe Clan, The MongolZ, and FURIA, the Thunderpick World Championship has always attracted world-class Counter-Strike talent. Each year, it states the aim is “to raise the bar even further by delivering an even stronger experience for both competing teams and fans worldwide.”

Now, with the 2026 iteration already locked in, Thunderpick says it is looking to further the momentum from previous years. To do so, it is ready to “confirm our long-term commitment to TWC and announce that the 2027 Thunderpick World Championship will take place from October 18–25, 2027 as a tier 1 event.”

Additional details regarding the Thunderpick World Championship 2027 will be shared in 2026.

Following a successful collaboration in 2025, Hotspawn is delighted to return as the official media partner for both the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 and 2027. In both events, Hotspawn is bringing fans closer to the action with exclusive interviews and content.
