Counter-Strike legend rain has confirmed he is leaving the FaZe Clan CS2 roster after nearly 10 years, confirming that he will be the one to make way for Twistzz’s addition on the active lineup.

Despite being benched on the FaZe CS2 lineup, rain will not be retiring anytime soon. The player says his “journey in CS2 is far from over,” stating he will “keep competing and growing as a player.” Notably, he also confirms he may continue as an in-game leader to extend his career in the game.
Throughout his time on FaZE Clan, rain won more than his share of trophies, including the PGL Antwerp Major 2022 and the Intel Grand Slam. Throughout 2025, he has averaged a 1.06 rating, an improvement from the 1.04 he mustered in 2024.
