ENCE win Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2 after SINNERS reverse sweep

ENCE are your Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2 champions, taking home the $20,000 first-place prize in a reverse sweep series against SINNERS. Although recent rule changes have meant a spot in the main Thunderpick World Championship Closed Qualifier is no longer on the line, the importance of this win still sees ENCE rise to 36th in the Valve Regional Standings.

SINNERS found themselves off to the perfect start in the Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2 Final. Map one of Nuke went perfectly to plan, with everyone performing in a 13:7 win on their map pick. For ENCE, only sdy was online, a bad omen for the maps to come.

Yet, suddenly, a switch flipped for ENCE on maps two and three. They were favorites coming into the Playoffs of the Thunderpick WC 2025 EU Series 2, and it was time they started playing like it. So they did. 13:5 on both Dust2 and Mirage saw ENCE drop no more than 10 rounds across two maps, demolishing SINNERS in a thrilling reverse sweep. That was more like it.

Whether ENCE will be invited to the Closed Qualifier remains to be seen, but if the Valve Regional Standings are any indication, I’d say there’s a good chance we’ll see them in the next stage of this competition.
