The Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2 Playoffs are just around the corner, and with it, a $25,000 cash prize is on the line. Perhaps even more crucially, these matches will see teams duke it out for those all-important VRS points, as they attempt to secure event invites for the rest of the year.
Even among the Playoff teams, there are some lineups who deserve a little more of your attention in the Thunderpick WC 2025 EU Series 2 Playoffs – read on to find out who you should be keeping your eye out for.
ENCE

On paper, ENCE should be the big favorites to progress from the Thunderpick WC 2025 Europe Series 2. Counter-Strike rarely works out exactly as it should in theory, which is what makes their run so interesting. They’ve played a ton of online CS of late, and a team with experienced heads like rigoN and sdy should have more than enough to see off the competition here. Should ENCE flop, though, and it’s another nail in the coffin for a lineup that has generally performed less than the sum of its parts.
Passion UA
Of the Passion UA squad that made the Shanghai Major last year, only jackasmo remains. Even still, they’re even stronger now, having brought in the highly-rated Kvem and steady hands Woro2k and DemQQ. It’s a lineup that may have a hard ceiling when it comes to the peak of Tier 1, but I’d fancy their chances at a very deep run at the Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2. That $20,000 cash prize would be massive for a team like Passion UA, who feel like they deserve a chance to test their mettle against the very best CS2 teams.
Betclic Apogee

Betclic Apogee were a surprise package at PGL Bucharest 2025 earlier this year, playing their first-ever Tier 1 event and showing some interesting potential along the way. A roster change since has seen them bring in dycha, who just a couple of years ago was an important piece in one of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world. The all-Polish lineup feel like they’re on the verge of a few more big appearances, and a strong showing at the Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2 could be an excellent opportunity to show their skills. On an individual level, watch out for jcobbb here – a 1.17 rating in the last three months places him as the star piece of this lineup.
Copenhagen Wolves
During the earliest days of CS:GO, Copenhagen Wolves were a fairly big deal in Counter-Strike. The name doesn’t quite hold the same prestige nowadays, but it has been interesting to watch how the 2023 relaunch of the brand has slowly progress over nearly two years. They’ve looked solid throughout the Thunderpick WC 2025 European Series 2, and in the Playoffs, they’ve got potential to gain some precious VRS points going forward. This isn’t a team that relies on one individual popping off, either – Copenhagen Wolves are a real team unit, which is why I have high hopes for their Thunderpick WC 2025 EU Series 2 Playoffs run.
