Dust2 is arguably the most iconic map in Counter-Strike history. Although it has spent several spells in and out of the Active Duty map pool, it remains perhaps the map most casuals both in and out of the game associate with the series. Its history spans back to CS 1.6, and it has appeared prominently in every title since. Ultimately, this makes learning the CS2 Dust2 callouts more important than ever. For some of you out there, loading into a Dust2 match against the right opponent means facing them on a map they’ve been playing on longer than you’ve been alive. That means not knowing the Dust2 CS2 callouts simply isn’t an option if you want any chance of victory.

Our CS2 Dust2 callouts map below has all the calls you need to make yourself a leader on Counter-Strike’s most legendary battleground. These callouts have been forged in the fires of battle across 25 years of action, and have generally remained the same for the majority of that time. Why shake up what works?

CS2 Dust2 Callouts

It’s equally important when learning the Dust2 CS2 callouts that you actually have a decent idea of what you’re looking for. We’ve gone through every callout on the map above, and described each one of them below.

CS2 Dust2 Callouts List (2025)

  • CT Spawn: The area where CTs spawn at the start of every round.
  • T Spawn: The area where CTs spawn at the start of every round.
  • Plat: Elevated area between T Ramp and T Spawn.
  • T Ramp: Ramp leading down to Outside Tunnels next to Plat.
  • Outside Tunnels: Outer area leading to Upper Tunnels on the T side of the map.
  • Upper Tunnels: Upper interior tunnel used to enter B Site.
  • Lower Tunnels: Lower interior tunnel used to enter Mid.
  • Car (B Site): A car tucked away in the corner of B Site.
  • Dog: Small cubby to the left of the B Site entrance to Upper Tunnels.
  • Fence: Second cubby to the left of the B Site entrance to Upper Tunnels.
  • Big Box: The biggest box on B Site, and the box closest to Upper Tunnels entrance.
  • B Site: The area where the bomb can be planted on the B side of the map.
  • Default: Main open area on B Site.
  • Back Site: Space at the back of the plantable area on B Site.
  • Back Plat: Tucked away area at the very back of the enclosed B Site area.
  • B Doors: Set of double doors leading onto B Site from CT Mid.
  • Window: Elevated open gap offering an alternate route onto B Site from CT Mid.
  • Scaffolding: Set of scaffolding located just outside Window.
  • B Boxes: Set of small boxes located just outside B Doors.
  • CT Mid: Exposed area on the CT side of the map leading directly to Mid.
  • Mid Doors: Set of double doors from CT Mid leading to Mid.
  • Xbox: Large box in Mid, just beyond Mid Doors.
  • Mid: Main middle area of the map.
  • Catwalk: Elevated catwalk leading to A Short from Mid.
  • Green: Cubby located on the left side of Top Mid.
  • Suicide: Small tunnel leading to Mid from T Spawn – has a direct view to CT Mid.
  • Top Mid: Area at the top of Mid on the T side of the map.
  • Outside Long: Area just outside Long Doors.
  • Long Doors: Two sets of double doors leading to Long.
  • Blue: Large blue container beyond Long Doors.
  • Side Pit: Area to the left side of Pit.
  • Pit: Deep pit located at the bottom of Long.
  • Pit Plat: Elevated area to the right side of Pit.
  • Long Corner: Corner area just as you begin to enter Long.
  • Long: Wide-open walkway leading to A Site.
  • Car (A Site): Car tucked away on the A Side of the map – has a view to Long and CT Mid from CT Spawn.
  • Cross: Open area where players from CT Spawn and CT Mid can see players crossing Long to A Site.
  • Ramp: Ramp at the end of Long leading up to A Site.
  • Barrels: Set of Barrels located at the top of A Site.
  • Goose: Enclosed area next to Barrels that is obscured from view of A Short.
  • A Site: The area where the bomb can be planted on the A side of the map.
  • Gandalf: Area next to huge box that allows cover from A Site.
  • Boost: Set of boxes that allow players to jump straight from CT Spawn to A Site or A Short.
  • A Short: Short walkway allowing players to enter A from Mid.

Because Dust2 is such a Counter-Strike staple, you’re never going to see a massive overhaul to the map. Certainly not one that changes the CS2 Dust2 callouts in any meaningful way – if that does happen, though, you can be sure we’ll keep this map updated to reflect that.
