The Rainbow Six Siege X South America League Grand Finals preview is here. As the road to the regional Grand Final in São Paulo takes shape. Five teams will enter the playoff stage, with a guaranteed spot at the Six Invitational 2026 on the line for the winner. FaZe Clan, Furia and w7m esports have secured their spots in Paris via points, with w7m securing it this week with their Upper Bracket Semifinals win against FaZe Clan.
The South American region has a lot of teams that can still qualify via points, with Ninjas in Pyjamas being just one win away from securing a points finish. Team Liquid can still be eligible on points, but would need to make the Grand Final. South America is truly the region to watch, with numerous potential scenarios waiting to unfold. All of these sides are competing for a slot at the biggest event in Rainbow Six esports; there’s a lot at stake.
Here is how each team looks heading into the games on December 5th.
*Indicates a side can no longer secure more points
Unlike Europe, North America, and Asia, the South American region starts and ends its Grand Finals weekend in one week, so we have a lot to preview with so many things that can change.
One matchup we do have guaranteed is our Upper Bracket Final, which will feature FURIA and w7m esports. Both teams have already secured spots at the Six Invitational. Victory here means a Grand Final spot, and given how tight the schedule is for South American sides, a win here would be huge.
If you are a w7m esports fan, it might be good to look away, though we suspect you know. The previous nine meetings between the two sides, going back to the BR Premier Finals 2024, have seen FURIA win every series, both Best-of-One and Best-of-Five. If you go back to early 2024, however, the results flip as w7m esports win most, but at that point, you are looking at two totally different rosters.
For now, at least, FURIA will be very confident, and given their success in the region, they were always going to be favourites.
Having lost against w7m esports in the Upper Bracket Semifinals, FaZe Clan find themselves in the Lower Bracket, though a bye to the Semifinal gives them an extra day’s recovery. FaZe have already secured their spot, and have a strong record against Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas, both of whom they could play in the Semifinals.

Recent history would tell us that Ninjas in Pyjamas will win this series, given they won the previous three meetings. However, the Quarterfinal will be played in a Best-of-three format, whereas most previous meetings between the two have been in a Best-of-One format. Though Ninjas in Pyjamas did win the recent Best-of-Three as well.
Regardless of who wins, they will face a tough task in the next round; however, for Ninjas in Pyjamas, a win would guarantee them at least fourth place, which should be enough to lock in a spot at Paris on points. Team Liquid is in a much more difficult position, really needing to make the Grand Final to have a chance of making it to Paris in 2026.
Obviously, all the sides that don’t make it will have a chance via the Last Chance Qualifier before the Six Invitational 2026
