The 2XKO Ranks are what separate the top players from those just starting out in the game. Now available widely in its early release, this fight boasts a fleshed out ranking system that is one of the most fun ways to play.

All 2XKO Ranks Explained

While it is a newer release, we’ve already had an extensive 2XKO ranked system added into the game. Ranked play is typically the more exciting mode in fighting games. It’s where you can measure yourself up against the top players and see where you stand. If you’ve got room to improve, or if you’re reaching the higher ends of wi-fi warriors.

With the game coming from Riot, players are expecting a decent Ranked mode here. 2XKO is trying to be a fighter we can take seriously competitively right from the start. This is how it compared in the Ranked mode.

These are all of the 2XKO Ranks explained and how they work:

All 2XKO Ranks in Order

  • Aspirant
  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Emerald
  • Diamond
  • Master
  • Grand Master
  • Challenger

Those are the main ranks. However, each gets divided up into three different tiers too. So there’s Bronze I, II, and III. Not just Bronze. Once you reach Grandmaster it gets a bit different though.

To be in this rank, you need to maintain 500 RP or more along with being top 100 on the leaderboard. It’s a bit trickier to get this high. Moving up the 2XKO Ranks is done through RP.

2XKO RP Explained

To rise up the 2XKO Ranks, you’ll need to gain more RP, or Ranked Points. When you win a match, you get RP. There are slightly different scales but things aren’t that complicated. You win, you go up. You stall out and stop winning, you’ll probably stop climbing all that fast.

You can also be demoted. If you lose enough RP you can drop down to levels below. Players who reach their skill level will likely stop moving until they improve in the game.

Rematches

Fighting games typically have options for rematches, if you want to go to best of three rather than just a single match. If both players agree, a Ranked match can do up to two more rematches. You can even counter pick the characters in 2XKO if you want to change things up.

Ranked Seasons

Just because you climb up on Day 1, it doesn’t mean you’ll stay in the top 2XKO Ranks forever. the title is planning on doing regular seasonal resets. With Ranked rewards for each season to encourage you to grind back up. We’re not very far in right now. But this is something to keep in mind once Ranked gets a bit more developed.

How to Enter 2XKO Ranked

Like with most games, there aren’t too many requirements for taking part in the 2XKO Ranked mode. The first is that you need to reach Account Level 3. That’s basically all you need to know. Players have to get their account level to that minimum, but otherwise you can jump in.

Then, you’ll also need to play in five different placement matches. Once completed the game will find your Rank.

2XKO Ranks are available very quickly. You won’t have to wait too long after making a start before you can enter Ranked and see where you stand. if you want to rise up to the highest ranks though, you might need to get some actual practise in.

Duos

2XKO is featuring a Ranked mode for solo play, but also Duos. You can take part in the Duos section to see how you measure up as a group. if you’re playing in Duos, matchmaking is a little different.

Players can queue up with a Duo at any rank. However, the battles will trend more towards the higher player’s rank. Which could mean tougher fights. it does mean you can’t boost other accounts all that easily though.
