With ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025 Group Stage concluding, we now see the 4 Indonesian teams moving on to the playoffs. RRQ Hoshi specifically is performing well, giving them a BYE round for the playoffs. The other two teams are from their rival region, the Philippines.

All 4 Indonesian participants of SPS Mobile Masters 2025 are qualified in their hometown moving to the live event in Tennis Indoor Senayan Jakarta, Indonesia. Those 4 Indonesian Teams are RRQ Hoshi, ONIC, Bigetron Esports, and Team Liquid ID. They have about 67% chance to actually avoid the current curse in Indonesia, which is having an offline event in Jakarta Indonesia with a PH vs PH Grand Finals. One of them being in the same venue with SPS Mobile Masters 2025, which was the World Champions of MLBB, M4, back in January 2023.
Their best bet yet for the tournament to win is currently RRQ Hoshi with them not dropping a single game from any team. They are undefeated in both SPS Mobile Masters Group Stage as well as their own MPL ID S15. Although RRQ Hoshi is possibly the favorites for the Indonesian fans to win, let’s not forget about ONIC, who dominated the region for 2 years straight, as well as Team Liquid ID, being the runner up in the recent World Championship of MLBB, M6.
Standing in their way are former and current world champions of MLBB, Team Falcons and ONIC Philippines. In the recent APAC Challengers Finals, Team Falcons beat RRQ Hoshi and ONIC during the group stage. ONIC PH were also the ones to eliminate RRQ Hoshi in the playoffs. ONIC PH also beat Team Liquid ID for the upper bracket with a clean 3-0 as well as swept ONIC in the Grand Finals with a 4-0 scoreline. Bigetron Esports also faced off against ONIC PH and was defeated 2-0 as well. You may say ONIC PH is currently Indonesia’s kryptonite, and it’s still ongoing as they are also undefeated in the group stage of Mobile Masters 2025.
Mobile Masters Miracle
With the release of the brackets of SPS Mobile Masters 2025, it is now confirmed that there will be a guaranteed spot for an Indonesian team in the finals. The curse is now broken as we wait for a Grand Finals between an Indonesian Team vs a Philippine Team or another Indonesian Team. The playoffs will happen on April 11th until 13th, 2025 where the top 6 teams will play a single elimination format to the finals.
