Team Falcons is now the 4th team to secure a spot in the playoffs for MPL PH S15 after winning their match against Twisted Minds in Week 6. Aside from finishing their week, Team Falcons is going to compete in an upcoming international event, the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Another World Champion Secures A Spot In Playoffs
During the first day of week 6 of MPL PH S15, ONIC Philippines and Team Falcons faced off against each other to determine the 3rd slot bound for playoffs. Ultimately, the match ended with ONIC Philippines besting Team Falcons with a sweep of 2-0, but the two teams gave the fans a match worthy of the world stage. This gave ONIC PH the 3rd spot bound for playoffs of MPL PH S15 but Team Falcons has another chance on the next day against Twisted Minds before they go to Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025. Since their flight to Indonesia is the same day at night, Team Falcons had to finish their match quickly to have more preparation time. With that motivation, Team Falcons ended their match against Twisted Minds with a clean sweep, earning them the 4th spot of playoffs.

In the post match interview, Team Falcons was asked if they think their form right now is ready for MSC, and here’s what Pheww has to say:
“I feel like our form is like, how you would say, doesn’t deserve to get MSC that’s why we need to become better for the rest of the following weeks that’s left so that we get back what our form was used to for international events.” (“Feeling ko sa form namin ngayon parang ano eh, hindi pa namin deserve ngayon yung MSC kaya mas pagbubutihan pa namin sa natitirang weeks pa para makuha ulit namin yung form na pang international.”)
Mobile Masters Momentum
Immediately after their match, Team Falcons had to run to the airport and catch their flight to Indonesia in preparation for the first day of Mobile Masters 2025. Alongside Team Falcons, ONIC Philippines also qualified for the upcoming tournament after the Challengers Finals of Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6. ONIC Philippines actually won the APAC Challengers Finals, while Team Falcons finished 4th but both of them already qualified for the bigger event to come.
Their first match starts on April 7, 2025, 2:30 PM GMT+7 with none other than ONIC from Indonesia. ONIC was the one to eliminate Team Falcons from the APAC Challengers Finals, letting them finish 4th so this will be their chance to retaliate and get even with ONIC.
