ONIC PH Are Still The Strongest As They Win SPS Mobile Masters 2025

The Grand Finals of SPS Mobile Masters 2025 did not disappoint as there were no one sided games. Almost all of the games played had a lot of gold swings and turnovers, where all players performed at their peak. Unfortunately for RRQ Hoshi, they have met their match and ONIC PH have handed them their first loss after their continuous win streak in their official matches.

ONIC PHILIPPINES VS RRQ HOSHI

Game 1

As the Grand Finals of SPS Mobile Masters starts, the Kingdom and the Sonics cheered loudly for their favorite teams to show their support for the players. For the first game draft wasn’t out of the ordinary except for neither teams banning Zhuxin and ONIC PH giving a Selena to their mid laner. The gold graph took a roller coaster route as both teams were exchanging leads during every neutral objective. In the end, a split push by Kelra’s Moskov threw RRQ into disarray as they needed to defend their base while contesting for the Lord. Sutsujin got the Lord however they were so distracted that they would lose the game, ONIC PH took advantage of the situation, leading them to the first point of the Grand Finals.

Game 2

The next game was much more different as RRQ Hoshi maintained most of the lead during the entire game until ONIC PH gave them a scare of a potential comeback after being almost wiped after pushing. ONIC PH quickly came back from the game state, which made it difficult for RRQ Hoshi to end the game even though they’ve broken most of ONIC PH’s base already.

ONIC PH had a man advantage in taking the Lord but Sutsujin suddenly snipes a crucial pick-off on Kelra. This made RRQ Hoshi decide to just try and end the game with ONIC PH’s main damage out of the way. With ONIC PH’s main damage dealers gone, RRQ ended the game tower locking to tie the series 1-1.

Game 3

ONIC PH made a few changes from how they played early as their comp suggested a much more aggressive style. They amassed a huge lead, putting RRQ Hoshi in the ropes as they were grasping for anything on the map to get. One neutral objective contention however was almost a comeback for the kings as they got the Lord but Kelra might’ve sought revenge after they lost the second game. The Gold Standard, Kelra, played out of his mind, even jumping in 3 of the Kingdom’s players just to pick off his gold lane counterpart, Toyy. This made it easier for ONIC PH to secure their second win in the finals.

Game 4

For game 4, RRQ Hoshi took a risk in replicating Team Falcon’s run with a surprise gold laner pick, Wanwan, since ONIC PH had a lot of crowd control built in on their heroes. Wanwan’s mobility is also useful in dodging the skill shots of ONIC PH’s heroes as they were pretty much straight forward to prepare for. That didn’t stop ONIC PH from dominating this game, getting nearly all of the neutral objectives and getting all of RRQ Hoshi’s turrets before the 10 minute mark. One strong push was all it took for ONIC PH to end the game, not giving RRQ Hoshi room to breathe, going to match point.

Game 5

Of course the last game would be absolute cinema as it went on for more than 20 minutes, unlike the other games that only lasted for less than 15 minutes. RRQ Hoshi had all the lead they could have hoped for just to try and contest for another game in the series. ONIC PH didn’t let that happen as they turtled their way until their timings were hit as their late game was better than RRQ Hoshi’s. One Lord dance was all it took for them to win the game as the KK connection played out of their minds in the lord pit while their teammates defended Toyy’s attempt for split push. RRQ Hoshi eventually got wiped out, giving ONIC PH an opportunity to push straight down the middle, regardless of still having 3 turrets in their way, to lead them to the trophy.
