How to Play Cecilion in MLBB – Complete Guide

He has a mix of mid-game teamfight potential and late-game scaling, making him one of the pocket pick heroes to play in ranked games. This guide will focus on Cecilion’s overview as a hero, item and emblem builds, and skill combos for teamfight execution to win you the game.

Cecilion Overview

Let’s go through a quick overview of Cecilion to see what he’s all about and why she’s such a strong MLBB esports pick right now:

  • Primary Role – Mage, Mid Lane
  • Damage Type – Magic Damage for all skills
  • Difficulty: Easy – Only 3 skills to press, 1 skill to spam. Skill shot is not that difficult too.

Main Strengths

  • Has one Crowd Control ability that pulls all opponents in one spot (ranged)
  • High burst potential with both crowd control skill and spamming of 1st skill for high damage
  • Sustain and repositioning with ultimate draining enemies with added movement speed bonus
  • Easy clear lane with combination of basic skills plus passive to roam after

Main Weaknesses

  • High mana cost skill to spam. The 1st skill scales by multiplying required mana
  • No mobility and survivability skill – easily burstable by assassins
  • Scaling hero, so early game has not much damage.
  • Almost short ranged skills leaving him vulnerable to engagements.

When to Pick Cecilion

  • The MLBB team needs a front to back mage to provide constant damage.
  • The enemy team has carries that are easy targets with no mobility
  • Most of your team’s heroes are based on physical damage

When to avoid using Cecilion

  • The enemy team has assassin heroes for junglers
  • Dive draft composition for the opponents
  • High Magic resistance / damage reduction heroes
