With 2025 coming to an end, here’s everything that will be released in the last update of the LoL season, Patch 25.24.
Patch 25.23 is currently out and we will need two more weeks before the last patch of the season and Riot Games takes a minor break ahead of the new year. With the Winter map already out in Patch 25.23, we’re likely not going to see extensive changes, unless the game developer plans on releasing a few things to prepare players for the new season.
Riot Games designer Riot Phroxzon has unveiled the full preview for the last patch for 2025, putting a lot of attention on assassin junglers such as Kha’Zix, Kayn, and Zed as well as some of the mid lane mages like Swain, Mel, and Viktor. Check out the numbers in the section below.
The skins for the patch have also been unveiled, with Zeri, Milio, and Mel getting winter-themed skins. Additionally, there will be matching skins for Nami and Lucian, as well as a cute Reindeer Smolder to celebrate Christmas.
The Victorious skin for this year has been confirmed to be Draven and it will be given to all eligible players at the end of the Season 3 Act 2.

Looking at the preview, the biggest changes are for Sejuani, who is getting much stronger. The increase of her AP ratios might mean that we could see an AP bruiser version of her becoming popular but it will require some testing by the players. The other big buff is for Viktor, who is getting extra shield on his Q.
Among the nerfs, the one who got hit heavily is Zed. Getting a 20% reduction from his passive will slow his jungle clear down and lower his overall snowball potential. Kayn also got a damage reduction of his Shadow Assassin and it’s expected to lower his overall carry potential, especially in the lower ends of the ranked ladder where he is more popular.
According to the official patch schedule, the League of Legends Patch 25.24 will go live on December 3, 2025. This will be the last update of the 2025 season, with Riot starting the new ranked season in early January.
