After the release of the first Arena LoL Patch Notes, find out what changes are planned in the next update, Patch 25.16.

LoL Arena Patch Notes 25.16 – What will the second update focus on?
Patch 25.15 has been officially released on July 30, but LoL Arena hasn’t been touched this time around. According to Riot, the plan is to make changes on even-numbered patches, unlike the traditional Summoner’s Rift.
With Patch 25.14 being the first update since the release of Arena this year, Patch 25.16 is expected to be the second time game devs will be making adjustments. Last time out, they focused on performing and non-performing outliers (Garen, Naafiri, Taric, Shyvana, Urgot, Aurelion Sol, Bel’Veth, Lux, and Ryze) as well as new augment revolved around the new champion, Yunara.
According to Riot game designer Mike “RogueFool” Breese, the new patch will come with several “exciting gameplay changes”, as well as quality of life (QoL) features. These include target dummies spawning after 5 seconds, and how damaging them will no longer prevent players from undoing their item purchases. Moreover, he also stated that players won’t have to wait for all combats to end if they’re looking to jump to the next game, and that scouting can be done by directly clicking on the opponents rather than selecting the players on the panel.
With the new patch coming up next week, there is a preview of the changes for Arena, according to data taken from the PBE. There are quite a few nerfs to some of the weaker champions, but also major nerfs to some of the overperforming ones like Zilean. Additionally, the change to the tank items (Immolate effect will count damage based on bonus HP rather than max HP) is set to heavily impact tank champions’ success (Cho’Gath, Sion, and Dr. Mundo being the main targets). You can find the full list of number changes below.
