After a stunning grand finals at Worlds 2024, Rekkles finally got the lift the trophy. Sure, as a substitute  player but he lifted it and that’s what counts. Only 2 days ago, it was announced that Rekkles was going to go ahead and leave T1 with no clear information about what was next for him. But now we know.

Caedrel’s LoL Team Los Ratones Roster Includes Rekkles

The brand new line up for Los Ratones, Caedral’s new League of Legends team has been officially announced with Rekkles in toe as a support player.

Los Ratones roster

The official Los Ratones X account confirmed their full roster earlier today:

  • Simon “thebausffs” Hofverberg as the top laner
  • Veljko “Velja” Čamdžić a jungler
  • Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek as the mid laner
  • Juš “Crownie” Marušič as the bot laner
  • Carl Martin Erik “Rekkles” Larsson as support

so, to put it lightly, this roster is STACKED. When Rekkles made the announcement that he was to be leaving T1, he made it clear that if he was going to continue playing, it would have to be in Europe. When discussing issues relating to his mental health, Rekkles said, “Now, I believe it is time for me to address those challenges, and to do that, I need to be in Sweden close to my family”. So it makes total sense for this roster to be competing in EMEA.

Los Ratones logo drama

Well, it’s probably a bit much to call it drama and in a post also posted on X and Reddit, it has been confirmed that the solution has already been found.

The long and short of it is there were some problems around the copyright of the original logo relating to compensation for those who took part in the design. The post confirms that in the end, it came down to miscommunications and that an agreement has been made with the designer so the logo can now be used.

Now that the roster is locked in, they have some time to prepare for the next splits, which kick off in January. Caedral has certainly got a lot on his plate over the next couple of months with the first ever League Awards taking place in December too.
