We’ve had to wait a loong time for Arcane season 2. While that’s not really surprising since the first season took a full 6 years to create according to former RIOT Games CEO Nicolo Laurent. Season 1 came out on November 7th 2021 and now, 3 years later almost to the day, we’re ready for season 2. Coming off the back of one of the most epic Worlds finals we’ve ever seen, the hype for the origin game is still real. Here’s everything you need to know.
The first three episodes of Arcane season 2, known as Act One, are set to release on November 9th 2024 at 12:00am PT.
You’ll need to make sure you have a Netflix account ready to go if you want to be one of the first to see the new episodes, it’s basically the same deal as last time. If you’re going to be watching from another region, here’s when it’ll be dropping:
| Time Zone | Time |
| Eastern Time (ET) | 3:00 am |
| GMT | 8:00 am |
| CET | 1:00 pm |
| BRT | 5:00 am |
| Southeast Asia | 4:00 pm |
League of Legends isn’t the only game getting involved with the Arcane release – VALORANT will also drop Arcane skins on November 9th.
The series will be split into 3 parts. We’ll only be able to watch episodes 1-3 on November 9th. Act 2, which includes episodes 4-6, will release on November 16th and the final act, including episodes 7-9 will drop on November 23rd.
It seems at this point that all acts will drop around the same times so remember to mark your calendars for these dates.
I mean, it’s been long enough that I admittedly had to rewatch season 1 to remember everything that happened. This isn’t exactly a bad thing, Arcane is probably the best show based on a game that I’ve ever seen. It’s also worth remembering that this will be the final season of Arcane so all of the plots currently up in the air should reach their conclusion in just 9 episodes.
Now that Powder (Jinx) is all grown up in the timeline, we’re should be seeing the immediate aftermath and effects of her actions in season 1. Jinx’s explosive descent into madness was a main plotline and from the trailer, it very much seems like it won’t be taken lightly.
In fact, Jinx and Vi are going to come face to face and fight it out. I’m really hoping they’ll get to have some kind of reconciliation and it isn’t completely heartbreaking. How it’ll end, we won’t know until we can watch the final episode.
In the words of Heimerdinger, it’s never a dull moment.
