The Megazord Fortnite update has been delayed from today’s release, but it’s now had a release date confirmed. This update is going to add some key features to the season. But it is arriving at a bit of a weird time, and with a bit of a delay.

Fortnite Update Tomorrow Will Add Megazord

Fortnite’s had a bit of a rough month. On the one hand the esports for the game is hitting new heights with the Global Championship, but on the other the player count is in the ground. Players are discussing is Fortnite dying more and more lately. The player numbers are low and even streamers are ditching it for Roblox.

This new update could be a good way to try and get some players back engaged in Battle Royale. But will the Megazord Fortnite update really move the needle?

What’s Coming in the Fortnite Update Tomorrow?

There are some huge changes planned for the next update, delivering more of what was promised when Chapter 6 Season 4 launched. Although, it might not be enough given the poor reaction to the current season. The update is going to focus on the Megazord. The giant mech that the Power Rangers form. We’ve known it’s coming as a Battle Pass skin for quite a while, but it’s probably coming in-game too.

The Fortnite update tomorrow is going to focus on the Megazord, and in the past few seasons are anything to go by it’s going to be a boss transformation. We’ve had these giant transformations every season for about a year now, and the Megazord looks set to be the next one.

These transformations give one player over the top powers. They’re generally more disruptive to games than they are fun. Only one player gets any benefit, and the novelty of curb stomping bots has dropped off for a lot of people.

Alongside the Megazord, we’re expecting more balancing changes. The game has had huge changes already this season. First Medallions got vaulted, then items got nerfed pretty hard. Now we’ve had a ton of older items added back into the loot pool like the Shockwave Hammer. Plus, the low chance of stumbling on a Mythic out of any chest. The current Fortnite update schedule looks like Epic is getting a bit panicked, but there’s still months of the current season to go before we get to something new.
