This is a public service announcement to all CS2 players that today is the final chance to secure your Premier Season 3 medal. If you do not have an active Premier rank when Season 3 comes to a close later today, you will not earn the medal for this season, regardless of how many wins you have.
CS2 Premier ranks expire after short periods of inactivity. Although Valve has warned players exactly when Counter-Strike Premier Season 3 is ending (today), many won’t know about the medal conundrum. If your rank is set to expire today, then you just need to play a game, win or lose. But if your rank has already expired, then you’ll need to win one to get it back, so it’s time to hop in the server and go get that medal secured if you haven’t already.
Season Three of Premier ends on January 19th.
You must have 25 Season Three Premier wins and a visible CSR when the Season concludes to earn your Premier Season Three medal.
For Season Four:
– Train
+ Anubis— CS2 (@CounterStrike) January 9, 2026
While CS2 Premier Season 3 ends today, Season 4 is not expected to start until tomorrow. When the queue reopens, Train will come out of Active Duty for Anubis, and many have speculated that the map will see some interesting changes to help balance it from its current heavily T-sided state. Any further changes in the upcoming Counter-Strike update remain unknown.
