CS2 Premier Season 3 is well underway now, and some players have already turned their attention to Season 4. And while Valve has yet to say the exact CS2 Premier Season 3 end date, there are certainly ways to make an approximate guess.

While Season 1 of Premier in CS2 lasted over a year, Valve has seemingly committed to more regular Seasons since. Upon the start of Season 2 in January 2025, the developer confirmed it would end following the BLAST.tv Austin Major, giving it a total length of approximately six months.
At the start of CS2 Premier Season 3, Valve didn’t give a similar estimate. However, given that there have now been map pool changes at the start and middle of the year, it’s fair to suggest that this is now an ongoing pattern for Premier end dates. This means that the CS2 Premier Season 3 end date should arrive just after the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, which concludes on December 14th, 2025.
It’s worth noting that the next Counter-Strike Premier Season won’t arrive literally the day after the Budapest Major. Valve is good about giving its developers the holiday season off work, so that means the CS2 Premier Season 3 end date likely won’t be until mid-to-late January. For context, Premier Season 2 started on January 25th, 2025, and I’d expect a similar 2026 date for Season 4 to arrive.
When Season 4 of Premier drops for Counter-Strike 2, players can expect yet another map pool change. Some have speculated that it will bring the long-awaited return of Cache, which Valve bought earlier this year. Other possible maps to return include the likes of Anubis and Vertigo. However, Cache coming to CS2 in Premier Season 4 is the prevailing theory at the moment.

Of course, there’s no way to know for sure until the CS2 Premier Season 3 end date rolls around. For now, keep an eye out for the end of 2025 and the start of 2026.
