BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 announces team list, with some top orgs skipping out

BLAST has announced the full list of teams attending BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026. The single-elimination bracket high-stakes event is returning in January 2026, bringing with it some interesting format changes. As before, 32 CS2 teams will fight in online matches for the chance to earn one of eight spots on LAN in Malta. The offline portion of BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 will take place between January 22nd and 25th.

BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 Team List Confirmed

With 32 invited teams, BLAST Bounty is one of the events that has the biggest variety of teams in the Counter-Strike calendar. It’s an even more varied list this time around, with notable absentees including the likes of MOUZ, The MongolZ, G2, and Legacy. All four have declined their invites to the tournament, instead focusing their efforts elsewhere.

Meanwhile, teams such as B8, SAW, FlyQuest, Lynn Vision, TYLOO, Fluxo, and MIBR have also decided to turn down their event invites to the next season of BLAST Bounty.

Note that invites can still change, subject to a core being bought out. If a core of players is purchased between now and the event, the invite goes out to the core, rather than the organization. This is particularly important with 100 Thieves still circling four pieces for its upcoming CS2 roster, and uncertainty about whether it will take on the core of an existing lineup.
