With some CS2 events in 2025 still to come, tournament organizers have already begun booking dates for their events next year in 2026. So far, ESL, BLAST, PGL, Skyesports, FISSURE, and StarLadder have already announced their major CS2 tournaments and their respective dates, although some venue and prize money announcements are pending.
From the information we have so far, ESL will be conducting a total of seven events throughout the year, including the first Major. PGL will host 5, while BLAST will stick to their roadway, similar to the 2025 CS2 calendar. Let us take a look at the 2026 CS2 tournament calendar for a better understanding.

CS2 keeps rising in 2026 tournament calendar

What intrigues me the most is not another year stacked with big tournaments. But the fact that the TOs have made their commitment evident so early by announcing their events a year in advance, despite the fact that the 2025 calendar isn’t even underway yet.
This level of proactive commitment goes on to show their confidence in the game’s potential and reinforces the belief that Counter-Strike’s future is as bright as ever.
Wallowing in his long-term, wildly unhealthy relationship with Counter-Strike, Saumya has now turned into a full-blown FaZe fan who likes to write about things he loses his sleep over.
