After the new update added 17 skins in the CS2 Genesis Collection, many players are curious about which ones have real staying power. Some will be forgotten, while others will be a staple of CS2 loadouts for some time to come.

We’ve taken a look at all 17 of the CS2 Genesis Collection skins, plucking out the best ones to show you here.

AK-47 The Oligarch

Move over, Gold Arabesque – there’s a new King AK-47 CS2 skin in town. The AK-47 The Oligarch has faced some early criticism from players for being a little too “Valorant,” and I get it. It certainly toes the line, but for me, this is one of the highlights of the new CS2 Genesis Collection skins.

MP7 Smoking Kills

The incredible design of the MP7 Smoking Kills is almost wasted on an MP7 skin, a CS2 SMG that many players avoid using entirely. It joins the M4A4 Temukau as one of the interesting anime skins in the game. Overall, I’d put this one as my favorite from the CS2 Genesis Collection skins.

AWP Ice Coaled

I’ve always been an AK Ice Coaled defender, so to see the AWP Ice Coaled arrive in CS2 is excellent. You can do some awesome sticker crafts with this skin, the blue-to-green transition being a great opportunity for creative players.

M4A1-S Liquidation

The M4A1-S Liquidation might be the cleanest skin in the CS2 Genesis Collection. It’s interesting to see how it uses red and blue in its extremities to completely change how the skin looks when in motion. I’ll be picking this one up, for sure.

Glock-18 Mirror Mosaic

Pictures don’t do justice to the Glock-18 Mirror Mosaic. Almost the entire surface of the skin is covered in reflective blocks, making it a feast for the eyes.
