The time has come! As the next CS2 Major is just around the corner, Valve has kicked off the in-game Pick’Ems for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. Launching alongside the Austin Major stickers, it’s time to pick the best CS2 Pick’Ems as we all hunt for that elusive Diamond coin.

Will Team Vitality look to secure their era with a Major win? Follow along with me as I make my CS2 Pick’Ems for every stage of the BLAST Austin Major – I’ll keep this page updated throughout so you don’t miss a single stage.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Playoffs Picks

This has been generationally terrible, hasn’t it? My worst-ever Pick’Ems performance, and it comes at the BLAST.tv Austin Major. Oops. In my defense, this has been a very silly Major. I’m dubbing it the Major of Silly Things™, and that will inform my Playoffs picks.

We’re playing for dignity at this point. I’m not really sure that’s possible given how badly they’ve gone so far, but we’re going to try. Check out my Austin Major Playoffs Pick’Ems below.

Why FaZe over Vitality, I hear you ask? Well, this is the Major of Silly Things™, is it not? And what would be more silly than FaZe Clan going all the way on s1mple’s return and beating the gargantuan favorites in a crazy upset? For what it’s worth, my head is telling me that Vitality will win this one, but my heart is saying that the dumbest thing possible is going to happen. I’ve let my head rule my BLAST Austin Major Pick’Ems, and look where that has gotten me. FaZe all the way, now.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 Picks

Admittedly, I’m on a pretty horrendous run right now, but that’s okay. Silver is cool. Right guys… right? Let’s be real, though – if you somehow managed to pick right from the utter mess that was Stage 2, there’s a not-zero chance that you were simply pulling names out of a hat. It was that random.

Now, Stage 3 is here, where the rest of the big boys join the competition. Spirit, MOUZ, Vitality. Those kinds of teams, the ones you’d expect to go and win the whole thing. So, let’s make some Pick’Ems for Stage 3 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, shall we?

After the disastrous last two Stages, I’m trying to play it safe again with this. But I said that last time out, too. Knowing my luck, Vitality will all of a sudden become total bots on the big stage, and get sent home in bizarre fashion. Let’s hope not – are you following my Pick’Ems for this one? If so, I can only apologize for the last two Stages!

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 2 Picks

Okay – so Stage 1 didn’t go to plan. Good news, though – Gold looks better anyway. That’s a totally consistent opinion that I’ve always held. So, Gold it is. As we move into Stage 2 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, we see some real big names join the affair. Falcons, who are among the favorites to win the entire thing, have to start in Stage 2, while the same can be said of s1mple and FaZe Clan.

Same rules apply here. 5/10 picks are all you need. If you ignored me for Stage 1, then you might still be in with a shot at Diamond. If not, then hop on and let’s go for Gold together.

I’m trying to play it as safe as possible with these picks. Falcons should be a nailed-on 3:0, and FaZe need to get off to a quick start if they’re to find form. Down in the 0:3, it’s an utter mess. It could genuinely be two of around seven or eight teams. I’m holding my breath and going for Legacy and Lynn Vision, and praying at least one comes in. In the 3:1 and 3:2 bracket, there’s a clear “best of the rest” to pick from.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 Picks

Right now, Stage 1 is the only Stage where you make your CS2 Pick’Ems for the Austin Major. More Stages will become available as the tournament progresses, and you’ll need to be on top form through Stages 2, 3, and the Playoffs if you’re to remain in contention for the Diamond coin. To start off, you must make 5/10 correct choices in Stage 1 to stay in with a shot.

Chinggis Warriors and Fluxo feel like pretty safe options down in the 0:3 bracket – at least one should come in. However, 3:0 and the other progressing brackets are much harder to call in the CS2 Pick’Ems for the Austin Major. I’ve gone Heroic and Complexity for 3:0 – it’s a pretty weak field, and these two teams have remained competitive at most Tier 1 events this year. Meanwhile, my 3:1 and 3:2 picks are full of online CS grinders – I expect them to bring their best form to LAN for this one, which is why they’re my choices in the opening CS2 Pick’Ems.

When will other CS2 Pick’Ems Stages be available to play?

Once each Stage of the BLAST Austin Major concludes, the next Stage of CS2 Pick’Ems should become available within hours. This gives Valve the time to input the correct results, while also allowing you guys the chance to decide what Pick’Ems you’ll be taking next.

It’s crucial you remember to lock in your CS2 Pick’Ems after every Stage. You don’t want to find yourself missing out on the Diamond coin because you totally forgot to choose your next set of Pick’Ems!
