This is how many players got the Budapest Major Diamond Coin

It’s official: some of the wacky results at the recent CS2 Major have made the Budapest Major Diamond Coin one of the rarest of all time. I certainly didn’t get it – my StarLadder Budapest Major Pick’Ems were only enough to net a Gold Coin this time around, which, as you’ll see soon enough, still puts it in the upper echelons of Pick’Ems this time around.

Just 0.03% of players got a Budapest Major Diamond Coin – were you one of them?

Every Major, Leetify tracks the rarity of each coin that players achieve, based on public Leetify-linked inventories. This time around, with a sample size of 40,000 inventories, just 12 managed to get a Budapest Major Diamond Coin through their Pick’Ems. That’s 0.03%, for those keeping track. Beyond that, 26.72% of players managed to get a Gold Coin, while the majority of players landed on Silver, with 64.46% in that bracket. Just 8.79% didn’t manage to go beyond a Bronze Coin this time around.

This means that the Budapest Major Diamond Coin is rarer than the Shanghai, Copenhagen, and Paris Diamonds. However, it’s still not quite as rare as the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Diamond Coin, with just 0.01% of players tracked by Leetify getting Diamond for Vitality’s win in the States.

The rarity of the last two coins raises an interesting question: are the CS2 Pick’Ems too hard in their current state? There’s an argument to be made, with perhaps a little too much randomness involved. But at the same time, it’s supposed to be difficult, but I understand the perspective that having great CS knowledge should perhaps translate to more consistent Pick’Em results.
