Cache has almost reached mythical status in the Counter-Strike community. It hasn’t been part of the Active Duty map pool since 2019 so you might need a refresher on the CS2 Cache callouts. The good news is that Valve recently purchased the CS2 version of Cache from creator FMPONE, giving the developer carte blanche to do as it wishes with the map. If it had no intention of using Cache, it would simply not have bought it, which is why you need to know all the CS2 Cache callouts to stay prepared for when it does eventually make a comeback. It’s going to happen, so don’t get caught out!

CS2 Cache Callouts List (2025)

  • CT Spawn: The area where CTs spawn at the start of every round.
  • T Spawn: The area where Ts spawn at the start of every round.
  • Truck (T Side): Large truck located just beyond T Spawn when heading towards A.
  • T Boxes: Wide open area beyond T Spawn when heading to B. No actual boxes.
  • Outside A: Open area where players can choose to head to A Main or A Long.
  • Boost: Small elevated platform where players can boost up from Outside A to peek Mid early.
  • Cubby: Small hidden area just below Boost in Mid.
  • A Long: Rooms leading to Squeaky from Outside A.
  • Squeaky: Door from A Long leading to A Site.
  • A Main: Main entrance to A Site.
  • Lockers: Set of lockers inside A Main.
  • Shroud: Set of boostable boxes next to Squeaky. Named after the former CS:GO pro-turned streamer.
  • Forklift: Forklift next to the entrance to A Main, underneath Balcony.
  • Balcony: Walkway located above Forklift.
  • A Site: The plantable area on the A side of the map.
  • Quad: Big set of boxes located at the back of A Site.
  • Default (A Site): Main set of crates located in the middle of A Site.
  • Lamp: Lamp alongside the side wall of A Site. Players can be boosted onto Lamp, so watch out.
  • New Box: Green box parallel with Ebox leading onto A Site from CT Spawn.
  • Ebox: Electrical box parallel with New Box.
  • Ladder: Ladder leading up to Balcony from Highway.
  • Highway: Short ramp leading up to A Site from Mid.
  • Truck (CT Side): Large truck with a direct line of sight into A Main.
  • CT Halls: Main set of halls located directly in front of CT Spawn.
  • Connector: Small room connecting CT Halls to Mid.
  • Tree: Huge tree located in the corner of Hell.
  • Hell: Main open area leading to B Site from CT Spawn.
  • Wood: Set of wooden boxes located in the corner of Hell.
  • Heaven: Ramp leading up to Rafters from CT Halls.
  • Rafters: Main elevated walkway with a view to B Main and B Site.
  • B Site: The plantable area on the B side of the map.
  • Headshot: Small cubby below B Site with a headshot angle view to B Main.
  • Default (B Site): Long box in the middle of B Site.
  • New Boxes: Set of tubes stacked on top of each other just above Pit on B Site.
  • Pit: Small dip underneath B Site with a view to Checkers.
  • Checkers: Long corridor from Vent and B Main, used to enter B Site. Checkers has a checkered floor.
  • Vent: Vent leading from Mid to B and Checkers.
  • Boxes: Set of boxes at the back of B Main.
  • B Main: Main entrance to B Site from the T Side.
  • Sun Room: Room in the side of B Halls, often used to throw utility into B Site.
  • Toxic: Set of eight toxic barrels just outside Sun Room
  • B Halls: Main hallway leading to B Main and Checkers.
  • Dumpster: Small room between Garage and B Halls – doesn’t actually have a dumpster.
  • Garage: Open garage leading to Mid from T Spawn.
  • Red: Large red container in the middle of Garage.
  • Mid: Main wide-open middle section of the map.
  • Ledge: Ledge above a closed garage – can be jumped on from White Box.
  • Roof: Main roof of the large hut next to Sand Bags.
  • Sand Bags: Set of sand bags underneath Roof.
  • White Box: Large white box at the end of Highway, often used to peek Garage for CTs.

Obviously, the main issue with learning the Cache CS2 callouts is that you can’t exactly load up the map and play a multiplayer game on it. Even if you did get a 10-man lobby going, most would have forgotten the Cache callouts by now! That’s why, if you can learn all these CS2 Cache callouts before the map officially returns, you can put yourself at a significant advantage over your opponents.
