Stage 1 will be the first look after Masters Bangkok for the teams in the Asian Pacific and this is everything you need to know about VCT Pacific Stage 1. Coming home with the most recent title, there will be even more eyes on the region. Of course, T1 have a lot to prove, looking to go back to back. DRX look to domestically perform once again and go on another undefeated run, and PRX are looking to beat the washed allegations. Unlike VCT Pacific Kick Off, teams will get more than just 2 chances to prove themselves before the next international tournament.

VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 Format

Similar to Stage 1 of 2024, the league will be split into two groups: Group Alpha and Group Omega. Each group will hold six teams who will complete a single-round robin.

The top four teams from each group will reach the playoffs; a double-elimination bracket whereby seeding is determined by Group stage placing.

First seeds will get a bye to round two of the playoffs upper bracket, while seeds two and three will face each other in the first round. Fourth seeds will begin their playoffs journey in the lower bracket, facing the losers of the upper bracket clashes between the second and third seeds.

The lower bracket final and grand final will be decided through best-of-fives, while the rest of the playoffs will use best-of-threes. The top-three places teams will earn a spot at Masters Toronto.

The number 1 seed of each region will get a free ride to the playoff stage of the Toronto Masters bracket. The rest of the qualifiers will play in the Swiss Stage for a shot at the top 8. This puts greater emphasis on that Number 1 seed position compared to Bangkok, where the Top seeds really only benefited from 1 match of “safety”.
