Two new rosters have joined The finals, as Pioneers scoops up the former Jaggers rosters, while M80 joins as a fresh side for 2026. In fact, one former member of Pioneers, Brendy, has joined the new M80 rosters.
The former Pioneers rosters had a good showing at Grand Major 2025, securing a 7th-8th place. For 2026, however, the Pioneers are looking to push in a new direction.
First up, The Finals gets a new organisation joining the 2026 circuit ahead of what should be a very good year for the game. The new M80 will feature former TSM player Dylan “Arko”, former Pioneers, Brendy, and Jalen “JalenMans” Stephens, who we speculated a few weeks ago could be about to sign for a team.

For M80, as a new roster, they’ve signed a number of experienced players in The Finals. M80 will compete in the North American region, which is one of the strongest, as far as regional leagues go, in The Finals. If M80 can replicate the success they have in other esports, then the organisation will be welcomed into The Finals by the wider community, and if they can bring some of their own fans into The Finals, it will be a healthy new addition to the game.

Unlike M80, Pioneers are not new to the scene, as we mentioned, they performed well in 2025, but are looking to make improvements for 2026. Pioneers have now signed the former FYR Strays rosters, which recently won the BES Masters Series Showmatch. The rosters competed under the Jaggers name after being released by FYR Strays. It was a short-lived stay at FYR Strays, which picked up the rosters in August 2025, before bowing out later in 2025 to focus on other titles. The roster is made up of Slothy, Tmills, and varieyn.
With the new rosters, Pioneers will be hoping to improve on their performance in 2025, and with the new roster, they’ll have a team that’s hungry to improve.
For now, we await what the 2026 esports plans will look like, but with the clear volatility in The Finals, it’s good to see new sides joining and old rosters being picked up for a new chance.
