Rainbow Six Siege X Wildcards Siege Event Released to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

Rainbow Six Siege X Wildcards Siege is a new time-limited event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game’s release. The event kicks off on December 15th and will run until January 5th. It’ll include lots of rewards for players to claim during a limited run.

The idea is to celebrate the game’s past with throwback events from the last 10 years. For example, a remake of House during the Dusk period of the day will feature lots of easter eggs and callbacks for players to find, alongside new game modes, modifiers like adding the Original Recruits and ACOG-only to bring back the classic Rainbow Six Siege feel.

The new event brings new gameplay moments for players, highlighting what Siege was like in the past for those who witnessed it or those who have started since. All events will take place on the House map, which will be played during the night. Though it’s worth noting this is the updated version of the map and not the old version, sadly.

At the start of each round players will vote on what gameplay modifier they want to enable. The top two picks are then active for that round. A number of options are available, with one from each category being selected:

• Operator-themed
• Aim-focused
• Tactical
• Gameplay Twists

Some examples are Headshot Only or Original Pathfinder, ACOG Only, No ADS, and so many more. This process is repeated each round, making every map a unique experience. All of this is played on House at Dusk, an updated version of the map, but using the new rework. The map itself has been updated for Rainbow Six Siege X Wildcards Siege. With easter eggs and other “familiar details”.

Rainbow Six Siege X Skin Collection

The event will also come with a selection of new skins and bundles. There are six in total:

• Valkyrie Yiran Bundle
• Vigil Blueberry Bundle
• Nøkk Levasoj Bundle
• Smoke Leotta Bundle
• Anniversary Kit Bundle
• Exhiliration Bundle

The four Operator bundles come in at 1920 R6 Credits each for Rainbow Six Siege X Wildcards Siege. With the weapon skin bundles costing 1680 each. If you are able to complete the full set of items for this new event, you’ll also pick up an Event Collection AR33 Memento, a 3D animated skin for Thatcher and Flores.

The other items outside of these bundles are all included in the new Wildcards Siege Packs. However, unlike the recent Delta Packs that were added, these new Wildcards Siege Packs will NOT contain duplicate items, with 33 in total being added. It’s also worth noting that every item has the same drop chance. So, once you open all 33 packs, you will get the AR33 Memento skin.

This Rainbow Six Siege X Wildcards Siege event is looking to tap into the nostalgia of the Rainbow Six Siege X community, as Ubisoft looks to bring back players who have not played in some time. Alongside those who have maybe never given the game a chance. This new event should be a great way to break the ice, with fun round variety allowing players to change up the gameplay with their own vote.
